I did not think when I filled a large planter with sand and then top soil to have something nice for my artificial topiary tree out back. Top soil is there for planting live plants around the topiary. However it has bad drainage. So this is what I need

Hello if you dont mind I have a question.. what plants soak up the most water? I have a plot and about twice a year it floods ..I have put drainage in which works but I get alot of excess puddles afterwards
