Longirsu gets rid of a linked monster your opponent controls. Not a card longirsu points to. Making him far more versatile And hope harbinger and photon lord are not bad at all for this deck. Those cards actually can come in clutch depending on what your areas meta is playing. To say they are bad is definitely false.

Also there are hands where you can make an early rank 8 play while still having combo without needing the zombie vampire, either through sarcophagus discards or just girsu/arma/grepher Photon lord can come up here to have your opponent be down a hand trap before you actually start comboing

If he thinks you don’t need photon lord he never got nibiru’d. orcust’s biggest weakness is nib and the best reason to run the Horus engine is to make yourself nib proof
