Sunset and Fujis final sector a fantastic imo because there are so many different lines that work. I'd much rather be able to take multiple lines than a corner like Tower at Sebring where there's only one line through, and even that feels absolutely awful. Also the Long Beach hairpin deserves to be here.

One for my list - Turn 2, entry to the esses at Road Atlanta. Specifically if I'm in multi class and I'm in a GT. It's a blind crest, the apex is somewhere out there, get it wrong you're then fudged for the next 6 corners, LMP2 cars come charging up on you and just expect you to not exist all of a sudden oh and just to top it off anyone coming out of the pits will be slow, off the racing line and understeering on cold tyres so much they'll end up in the next state. Rest of the track - great. But T2 - I hate it!

Sunset, and Sebring in general, is my current best example of a track I absolutely hated when I first tried it but the more I drive it, the more I enjoy it.

I absolutely love Sebring in the rain. Especially turns 2-14. The dry lines get slick the wet lines get grip and game on!

Hard disagree on Sunset. The beauty of it is how tough it is to find the right line. And really it's that there's several good lines. Silverstone T4's sister corner is T15 at COTA. On Magny Cours don't forget that it's a chicane that comes immediately after a hard turn. So you're not even going fast.

Long Beach hairpin definitely needs to be on this list. Maybe replacing Hungaroring. Hungaroring is definitely an absolutely terrible track, but for single corners and/or sectors, hard to beat the ridiculousness of the Long Beach hairpin and Road America kink. Also 100% agree regarding COTA. Absolutely hate that track, but the only flowy bit of the entire track is the esses and I do love those when I get it right. Just removing those curbs to allow for a tiny safety margin would go so far.

Fuji last sector is genuine pain on single monitor, as you said each apex feels like a gamble and the line you have to take is just an open invitation to divebomb from the driver behind. Fuji S1 and S2 feel great but S3 just scares me away from ever attempting to drive it again

Wouldn’t really disagree too much with this list, but I wanna believe that some corners on this list might feel a bit better in a different car compared to others I’d also include the uphill left hander at Watkins Glen, no grip and confidence at all, it’s just abysmal. Or just simply the entire road Atlanta and Laguna seca track 😭

As an almost exclusively formula driver I did not agree with most, but, trying to imagine those same corners on a heavier, bigger car, than what Im used to, yeah, I totally see your point. F4 in hungaro was amazing, first time I drove there. (I only drive formulas because I find it easier, I struggle with the weight of gt3's, but I will learn someday)

Even in VR and the open-cockpit of the Mercedes-AMG W13 F1 car Silverstone T4 is a pain! The wheels are so big with the wake deflectors that the apex is still hidden.

Completely agree on Hungaroring, I practiced hard thinking it was just me, once I get the hang of it I'll learn to love it, but nope, I still hate it more than any other track on iracing. I too would take a refund in a heartbeat on that one.

The final chicane at Le Mans is my least favourite. Great way to bottle a good quali lap by either slightly cutting and getting a slow down or lose so much time being cautious.

When i saw the title, these tracks were EXACTLY what i was thinking about. Plus also turn 11 at COTA, which has the same issue as the silverstone one but maybe even worse cause you can't see the apex at all for multiple seconds on single screen

I actually quite like COTA Sector 1 but not the sector 1 iRacing has. those bumps completely ruin it. 1cm to wide and you get sent to the ISS Space Station Magy-Cour I completely agree with especially in LMDH and LMP2, those curbs are absolutely horrible

COTA - The snake is a very poor copy of a part of Assen. I hate COTA, it is a track that has meant to have taken the best parts of a lot of different tracks and just butchered them completely. Most of the other corners and sectors I have to agree with.

My absolute top 1 has to be the West Bend section at Lime Rock, such a horrible double apex into a swift direction change. Thankfully that layout is barely used!

Hungary in a GT3 in ACC I got punted off at T2 1st lap and was trying to recover. I caught someone at over 2s a lap and just could not pass, I got blocked at every opportunity. Eventually I got a sniff of a gap after he made a mistake 2nd to last corner, I was up the inside of the last corner my front wheel next to his front door and got punted and spun out. They may abolish that track it really sucks!

Had been to COTA several times (Super Lap Battle), can agree to that lol - its cool to see cars go through the back area of the Pits but during Gridlife races, a whole crowd of 30 cars, could imagine the mess of getting through S1 💀 *in Addition, I’d probably say Sonoma has the worst S1 - high climb into a hard right turn then a quick left

For me the worst corner in racing is the last corner of the Dunlop esses as I never know when to get on power and either do it too late and ruin my run all down Mulsane or go too early and run off also ruining my run.

7:26 I did not expect that and burst out laughing hahaha. The Fuji sausage curbs ripped the entire front end of my Merc GT3 once, hilarious replay material. Yes Silverstone T4 is horrible for me with a single monitor. The Auto Club roval T6 is like that too. Getting the line right is a crapshoot really. Fuji I think is not TOO bad because you can follow the rubbered-in line but it took me a lot of practice to get reasonably quick there. I'm surprised Nurburgring GP arena section didn't make it on the list - those few corners are some of the worst in motorsport imo. They're not fast but not slow, they feel like they take forever and the car kind of lumbers through them.

Don't you dare diss T1 at VIR. It is an amazing corner for overtaking. Outside, inside, over-under. Done it all. They even removed (or reduced) the HUGE bump on the outside at the exit too with the rescan. The bump that have sent me round a few times out in the abyss. The kink is worse at VIR, loose it there and you have an eternety to get back....or get a black flag for reaching the back straight. And if you are talking t4 at Silverstone, why not t11 at cota which is hopelessly blind or T1 which is so tricky, narrow and chaos + being blind single screen. Sunset at sebring I do agre, I always loose time there or get sent or some akward encounter

Surprised you mentioned Silverstone turn 4 and Fuji's last sector but you didn't mention the COTA corners that you can't see the apex on a single screen too.

I agree with most of that but I would put CoTA as #1 and not just the first sector but the whole track. There is just something about Hermann Tilke designed tracks that I just don't like, not one of them! As these are all modeled from the real circuits there is not a thing iRacing SHOULD do to change them just so you can 'cut' the corner a bit more and go faster through them e.g. the CoTA sausage kerbs and the high kerbs at Magny Cours. If iRacing took away the things that exist on the real circuits then they are not being faithful to the circuit and then you might as well forget about scanning the circuits and just make rough approximations of them or make complete fantasy tracks. I would add Daytona Roval Turn 1 to this list. Coming off the banking while turning slightly to get to that short chute and then braking heavily to make the turn, the car is ALWAYS unsettled and difficuly to stop properly. The only way I have managed to make the turn successfully is by starting my braking just before the bend, easing off to turn the wheel to go into the bend and then braking heavily. Of course that means I am usually 2 seconds down just on that 1 turn compared to everyone else and if I happen to be in front of someone often get booted up the rear and punted off anyway. Certainly the one corner I haven't mastered

I would say that Turn 12 on VIR is also dreadful, at least when you are on signle screen. I race in VR and don't have many issues with it, but when I was at my friend's place and was trying to convert him from Toyota GR to Ferrari GT3 we both were literally flying off this turn as you don't see where it turns until it is too late :D

you are litterally complaining about kerbs even tho they are ment to keep the drivers within tracklimits and they are like this to scare the drivers even more so you wont even try getting an advantage. they are deadly to punish you. that is the same reason that same principle counts IRL too. you can destroy your car when you drive over certain sausage kerbs irl when you aren´t lucky or just ignorrant

Sebring has talked about a repave, but drivers and even manufacturers have said not to because a lot of its beauty comes from being so hard for drivers and on cars. The only people who I have ever heard say it needs to be redone are either casual fans or people who think that race tracks should only be silky smooth like the tracks built specifically for f1.

Also, I would have taken a picture from above and enaugh far away to understand better it’s a car taking a corner.
