Rather than the Yardbirds’ version of Train Kept a-Rollin’ (or Aerosmith, for that matter), the first cover by Johnny Burnette had a massive impact. Seems Paul went with one song per artist, so it could have been Whole Lotta Love for Zeppelin since it’s not the guitar that ushers in Black Dog. My favorite thing about this is not the hands or the riffs or the pedal tones, which are all nailed, but what comes across is your sense of the guitar controls- you know where to find the positions for pickups that really make things pop out just right, and as a strat user that was super cool. Shows how versatile that guitar is in the right hands.

Wow that is impressive! doing a top 80 iconic guitar intros list is nearly impossible because there are so many. It was nice to see Rush, Metallica and Iron Maiden making the list. The only one I haven't seen mentioned in the comments by others that I would have added is "Holy Wars" from Megadeth.

To me the most impressive thing is that he knows which intro is next. Not the fact that he can play 80 intro's. Of course he can do that, but he knows the sequence of all those 80 songs and never stopped wondering which is next. Chapeau!

Impressive playing all these in one take for sure ut impossible for the tone to be on point for 80 different pieces with diverse tones using one guitar. Also a bit insulting to the amazing artists who played the music that made up this list to say that a youtuber can capture their tone. Good guitar karaoke on the most part for sure but some if these takes were not close to the originals (still got the blues in particular was completely bereft of the soul and tone of Gary Moore.
