I’ve traveled in all of them , they’re beautiful to visit but they become boring after a couple of weeks , Bucharest not , it’s so much fun there . My favorite thing was the village museum and bran castle. To get to Bran we took train to Brasov then hired Bolt/Uber to from Brasov to Bran. Tour guides wanted like $400+ for something we did for $40ish.

Hey! The info is really good! Just one note - the center is pretty old - The Curtea Veche is from the 14th century and Hanul lui Manic is from the 18th Century. Most buildings in the center are from late 19 century, early 20th century (it was just renovated around 15 years ago)

Really nice town. Just returned from a holiday there. Beautiful buildings and parks. Easy to walk. Uber is best way to get around town. Delicious food. Friendly people! Took train to Black sea 1st class for only $40 round trip. Therme spa was amazing. Spend a whole day and luxuriate. Great food courts too plus swim up bar.

You can visit all the places by yourself. Only have to pre-book to the Parlament, what is good to be checked at least a few days before your planned trip.

I think 7 days maybe too much for Bucharest itself, but you can do many daytrips from the city eg. to Brasov or Transilvania . Also Bucharest Christmas market will open on November 30, so the vibes gonna be good :)

I admire people who promote my country and the city where I was born and I am living. Well done ! But this are not the best places to visit in Bucharest. Unfortunately Bucharest is not well promoted and I believe the best way to see Bucharest is to have a friend who knows Bucharest well and give advice or show the nice places.

@@quetaconazo As I said, the best way to see Bucharest is if one person who was born here in Bucharest will show you the city. This is maybe valid for any place in the world but I feel that in Bucharest it is more needed because the best places are not so obvious and easy to find. Basically since I was in high school 25 years ago, me and my friends were constantly searching for the best places and we still continue to do the same nowadays. Also in Bucharest every week one cool place open and every year many places which once were cool are closing. So for example if someone was in Bucharest 10 years ago and found 10 cool places now for sure all are closed. Coming back to your question, I will try to answer: 1 go with Metro to Piata Victoriei and then walk on Street Calea Victoriei until you reach Old Town - Piata Unirii. Don't hurry just walk and relax, if you see some nice places on the way, stop and explore these places. 2 Old Town streets and Bars but restaurants in Old Town are not the best in Bucharest, food in Old Town is just commercial and it has little taste. 3 Good Romanian restaurants : - Hanul Berarilor - Casa Soare - Hanul lui Manuc - bucataria.localfood 4 nice bars Biutiful Linea 5 Must see this !!! Muzeul Antipa - 6 Nice Clubs Nomad in Old City and many others - just take one taxi and tell him to bring you in two or three most nice clubs. - I wish you good luck and have a nice time !

Roma/ Romani and Romanians are two totally different things. Romanians are an european ethnic group, descendants of the mixture that resulted after the Roman conquest of Dacia . Roma/Romani are a nomadic group originated from Northern India (so they are a brown race, not a black race), which have immigrated to Europe around the 9th century and have been enslaved by european nations until recent history. You can find Romani all over Europe, but it just so happens that a lot of them have setteled in the balkan region. The similarity between the names is what understandably confuses and fires up many people, especially racists :) . You can find more information by googling the Dacian Kingdom or the origin of Romani people.
