On Mindbender, people call that helix in the middle of the ride a loop, but I don’t count it as a loop because it is no where near close to an inversion. I say Mindbender has two loops.

I would still say that Twisted Cyclone is my favorite there, but I’d probably put Goliath over Mindbender, but those are still the three best coasters there. I would place them in this order. 1- Twisted Cyclone 2- Goliath 3- Mindbender

The twisted Cyclone is my favorite. it's so smooth and actually way different from what you expect The blue hawk is really smooth too but it feels like you're going to hit your head on a pole 😂 and the american scream machine IS SO ROUGH. but the mind bender is what i always ride first to prepare me for the rest of the park

That video of Viper brings back so many memories. I truly miss the light-up scheme of Six Flags Over Georgia during the night hours of the late 90s... Skycoaster, GreatGasp, Mindbender, and Scream Machine all had these "Las Vegas style" lights that you could see driving down I-20. Still waiting for them to use it for Goliath. It badly needs a repaint and new lighting.

Anyone remember the Dahlonega Mine Train coaster? I used to go to Six Flags a lot even when they first opened in 1966!! They would have a new ride added every year. They added a lot of Coasters later - the Great American Scream Machine was their first big coaster. Lots of fun.

My orchestra group went to Atlanta and came to Six Flags Over Georgia. I liked the place but the waits were so long for everything so I barely had the chance to ride one roller coaster. I was also to afraid to ride a few as well since I haven’t really ridden a roller coaster and enjoyed it since 2016. The one ride I was actually able to ride (and enjoy) was the Twisted Cyclone.

Love that footage from 99 of viper! it brought back great memories seeing everything lit up in the back of the park like GASM and the swing, looks awesome idk why they don’t still run the lights on the lift hill anymore and on the swing ride! Sure it takes a lot of light bulbs but still man was those the days at sfog I use to love it,the lines seemed to be shorter back then too guess everyone isn’t scared of coasters anymore!

The Scream Machine is the roller I grew up on, we made at least yearly pilgrimages to Six Flags over Georgia. More than once a year if we were lucky. I also rode the Viper, but never knew why they tore it down.

Fun fact: A lot of people say The Riddler Mindbender has two loops. Well I think this will make sense. People also think it is a helix but it is to steep and loops don’t have to be upside-down to be a loop. Also the 2nd loop is not a helix because a helix would actually continue going down in a circle over and over and over again but for Mindbender, It only makes one circle plus the shape of it has to mean it is a loop but that doesn’t mean the ride has three inversions. It is just a unique loop most of the people in the world don’t know. I hope this helps you.

Superman ultimate flight's pretzel loop is horrible for people with big tonsils. I remember riding it during a field trip for my chorus class and my tonsils were all the way in the back of my throat during that loop. Super uncomfortable. But great ride over all.

It was crazy me and my family went here yesterday and it was a bit cloudy and a high chance of rain, but nothing happened, so all the rides were literally walk on! Batman is my favorite ride... I don’t like Goliath a lot, because of its height, and I hav e a fear of heights. But thanks for posting this so I could see what roller coasters were the best!

It’s frustrating how SFOG hasn’t received any new ground up coasters throughout the last 12 years even if Twisted Cyclone was their last new major coaster. The good thing is that they announced 2 coasters that are coming to the park in a single year. Hopefully in the future, they can redeem themselves by getting major coaster investments every 2-3 years in the future

Just got back from six flags over Georgia, Batman is crazy! Be prepared haha, it was my first rollercoaster ride! I'd recommend using the minetrain if you would like a less scary or crazier rollercoaster.
