One of the most interesting things was that we had new hit every week and that every summer had at least one HUGE MEGAHIT that literally entire world sings. Summers were literally magic. I remember me playing eurodance songs on RADIO vey lod and my mother telling me: turn it down, tuuuuurn it dooooown Summers were different, vibe was different, people vere genuinely happy, I was genuinely happy teenager. These eurodance songs are reflection of how happy were back then.

The 1990s were a fantastic decade for European dance music, with a plethora of iconic hits that continue to be celebrated today. Some top 90s European dance hits include: Snap! - "Rhythm Is a Dancer": This German group's song is a classic of the era, known for its infectious beat and memorable lyrics. Ace of Base - "All That She Wants": This Swedish band delivered a string of hits, with this song being one of their most famous. La Bouche - "Be My Lover": This German-American duo became a sensation with their upbeat dance tracks. 2 Unlimited - "No Limit": A Belgian-Dutch duo that ruled the dance floors with this hit. Haddaway - "What Is Love": This Trinidadian-German artist's song became synonymous with the dance culture of the 90s. Culture Beat - "Mr. Vain": Another German act that left a mark on the 90s dance music scene. The Prodigy - "Firestarter": This British electronic group brought a more aggressive sound to the dance genre. Eiffel 65 - "Blue (Da Ba Dee)": This Italian group's catchy tune became an international hit. Robin S - "Show Me Love": This American artist's house anthem is still played at clubs today. Vengaboys - "We Like to Party! (The Vengabus)": A Dutch group that brought Eurodance to the world. These songs are just a glimpse of the diverse and exciting dance music landscape of the 90s in Europe. They continue to be celebrated and enjoyed by music enthusiasts and partygoers around the world. 🎶💃🕺

Who remembers sitting in their bedroom for hours on end doing a mixtape of all their best tracks from different CD's that you borrowed from friends. Recording one track and you had to press stop at precisely the right time, pull the cassette out and then wind it back a little bit, then start the next track. Nothing worse than when your Walkman chewed up your cassette😭

It killed the essence of your music experience, but lets be honest, thanks to the internet this hits can be listened forever (and believe me that nowadays raves and parties still put many of this and can select from sooo many years of hits!). Nowadays it is easier to get access to good music, to learn to compose music and find your style and so on... Internet is not the problem on itself... imo is the social media and all the legal addictive algorithms to get people addicted to those apps and makes us dumb. Luckly I think nowadays it is commonly known that social media is objectively shit... I hope one day it gets out of trend and we all people wake up and realise that REAL LIFE IS OUT THERE, not in an Instagram post.

Both are crap, that's the thrust. Simply these songs remind us our young time, our teen age. It's only nostalgy, exactly the same way your parents likes tv show from the '60, or their 1st car, even if everybody could tell them it was really a shit on 4 wheels, because we would compare with modern cars... So, what is objectively good ? I guess what every generation can listen and truly like, is "good" : Classical music, soul music (let your teens listen Aretha Franklin, just to see...) and, you know, everything which still survived untill us. Because there is no band in this "dance compilation" who's still active today. All of them are fallen in far memories.

I think Insomnia has that amazing vibe to take me back to when I first discovered trance, but What is Love is just too damn iconic, and it got so big worldwide. One of my favorites left off of this list is Emjay’s “In Your Arms.” That song is so good that it should be required listening for everyone.

OMG I remember myself jamming and dancing to most of these tunes LOL. God how I miss the 90s. Especially now that we're currently in this cursed pandemic, it makes me reminisce about the good ol' days even more. Man I would trade 2020 and even the whole 2010s to relive my childhood again in a heartbeat.

that decade seems twice as long as the 00s and 10s. hands up who can remember at least 8 summers from this mix? I'd buy this Twin tape set if it were released.
