This makes me appreciate my Kyrie 4s even more. They are super comfortable and the traction with that crazy deep treads run across all directions lasts incredibly long. I've found that the best shoes to use outdoors are tennis shoes, like the kind actually made for playing tennis. They're literally meant to be used on concrete, so the durability and court feel is much greater than you'll find on any basketball shoe, except perhaps the Chinese brands using XDR for the outsoles. They're also great for toe drags since that's such a common occurrence in tennis. You should try a pair and see what you think!

If man wanna talk durability kyrie 6s takes the cake like really. It's the most durable shoe I've had in a long time and even while the sole has become smooth in the forefoot it still has mad bite. Toe drags and everything is completely covered the only issue is the impact protection. The zoom is a little thin so not the best. However it gives excellent court feel and I mean excellent. Its super reactive too so u actually do feel it. I'm pretty heavy but they do do am excellent job in my opinion. Not to mention ankle support. I've never rolled my ankle in them ever.

Have all the shoes you mentioned, and best shoes to ball outside that will last, and I got for 45 dollars, is the pro 2g high top. Those things are tanks. Would put pg4s 2nd, those are great for outside, kd 13 are great too, but best in doors.

Based on Sammy's and Donny's review (VII) of the KD Trey 5 VIII I copped a red pair and I play a lot of outdoor courts and the traction on these are unreal with very little wear. And the cushion is very similar to the Nike Renew Elevates, comfy. Haven't bottomed out yet either.

i had an adidas clima cool low before. i had it for a long time so due to wear & tear, the whole outsole of 1 of the shoe fell off when i jumped when we were playing ball...ha ha ha...i didn't call for time out...i just stepped out of the court and changed shoes - chucks...ha ha ha...the anta GH 2 looks dope. thanks for the video.

I only used mine around 10-15 times for solid ball runs and would say they definitely can hold up for the traction on paved courts, I like to use a lot of toe drags and half spins when I play and find the upper material as well as the foam to be on the softer side. the foam started tearing in spots where I do side drags after my first few runs and had me worried about the durability of it but I also didn't get as much tear from the toebox material which in terms of fit was solid since the lace system and material keeps your foot snug to the foot bed. but the thing that made this one hard to play with for me was the cushioning, It's not the worse system I've played with(curry's take those) but with how low to the footbed you are I find the foam to act more of a side panel to keep you in place rather than absorb the impact. my build is 5'11 ~200-10 lbs low on speed but high in strength so this shoe advantages are its light weight, "advance" lockdown system with lacing options, and stopping ability(on dry surface) is really good especially since the traction allows for minimal dust buildup. on the other hand the shoe can be demanding on the foot since you have less impact protection than necessary and the material depending on your playstyle can lead to a lot of wear and tear its a good shoe to keep in the list but I would keep this shoe to indoor courts if possible. I got these when covid started hoping to use them inside, I'm not upset about breaking them outdoors but I know they would've lasted longer inside. hope that helps

I have the Gila Monster color way and those are good outdoors I have played in them for about 3 and a half months in some competitive runs and the traction looks almost good as new but light strike bottoms out quickly and for indoors they are not great but they are a good outdoor option for sure if you are a Shifty guard or foward with great containment but the impact protection it’s okay until about the second month.

I recommend the Hoka One running shoes. It has double to triple the cushion of a regular shoe. It’s great if you have back and knee soreness. I have them in wide for better lateral support and wear an ankle sleeve to for added protection.
