Claudette is untrustworthy. She criticized everybody only she knew how to cook lol. Yeah she kept asking Tania for help she tried to throw Chris under the bus. Tania didn’t like anybody. A lot of anger there. She said she didn’t want to be around the other chefs. And the way she talked to Carrie….and the bears there was no reason for that. You get the feeling she has a contempt for everyone. And so much is beneath her. Claudette isn’t too bright. Calling racism when the previous season it was all about Mexican food. She’s just a mean girl

I really don’t care about Tanya’s attitude...Claudette threw her completely under the bus...she wasn’t even trying to be truthful she just wanted a scapegoat for her poorly executed dish

Look at Claudette she just looks mean and spitefull...she new she couldnt execute her dish...she got behind on one of her other dishes...the judges clearly saw this...but of course they wanted to baby Claudette...so she didnt have a nervous break down...so instead the judges enable her...I am so proud of Tanya speaking up for her self..Because its her duty to stand up for herself...and i am very dissapointed at Kris...he was apart of the team also...and chose to not have an input...and its funny how the judges didnt refer to him..since Tom wanted to slide in his little undermining swimming team spill..and while Kris was trying disconnect from his team...he still didnt win the gold...he barely slid into second..but this was just to beef his ego up...because he is going to need it when he is all by himself...and girl nobody wanted to hear how much you was going to miss Tanya its a competition show..but we all know that...in the realms of lack of diversity..that someone has to show some pity...she is not going To miss Tanya no more Than Leann...she made that clear after she went home...

I fully agree that Claudette did throw Tonya under the bus. With that being said Tonya carried and probably still does carry a chip on her shoulder and is quickly to use it when offended. By no means am I judgemental and love all people of all colors but unfortunately I know there are those who do respond and react like Tonya....

I've been binging basically every cooking show out there and am now up to this season of Top Chef and Tanya confuses me. She and I seem to be roughly the same age and I spent a lot of time on restaurant lines in the 80's and 90's in Atlanta and Chicago and her claims are completely at variance with my experience. This whole "I couldn't get a job in the US because I was a black woman" isn't true. Woman were a distinct minority on the line back then but they were there. Actually checking her resume there is no indication she ever struggled finding US employment. She certainly seems to gravitate more to front of the house and management than actual back of the house work, nothing wrong with the that line cooks get hot and dirty and work long hours for pretty low pay but her patter seems meant to make her the victim when she's had a pretty great life.

I saw lots of shade coming from Tanya - even in response to Gail - "Don't put words into my mouth Gail" - boo hoo - Gail was trying to be fair and Tanya was being a huge pain - bye bye. I like Claudette and I think she felt Tanya was being mean spirited.

Janine Burke; Her words were "I'm not upset for either of those reasons Gail, don't project that on me". What Gail need to say in a reply was "Well you're obviously upset about something so I'm not projecting anything that you haven't already shown us, Tanya." She was very defensive and I think tired of the whole competition, and disgusted with Claudette's comments and the passive way she put her hand on Tanya shoulder before shoving her under the bus. But I personally don't like Claudette, I think she's a stone cold subversive bitch and people need to watch out for her. She is a covert narcissist, or passive aggressive at the very least. But that's my observation and opinion. Peace.

No, she did not. She got minimal help during her leg of the race. Even the judges noticed that the other two teams were helping their team member, while Claudette wasn't getting any assistance from Tania. When she asked for assistance, all Tania did was huff and puff and make faces, while complaining under her breath. Not a team player!

Regarding Tanya: Any time there is a black female around who is very outspoken about both black and feminist ideals, (instead of focusing on the human component) everyone has to walk on eggshells around them. Even me mentioning these character traits are instantly interpreted as "hate," even tho they're not intended to be hateful in any way whatsoever. People like her think that life should be a certain way and that they are inherent victims of life who deserve to be compensated; so they are allowed, due to our culture's warped ideas about social justice, to get away with poor behavior and not be penalized for it. And if anyone speaks out against it, and calls them on it, that person is penalized instead. Welcome to America 2018. I was happy to see her go. Let's keep the race and gender out of cooking competitions and keep it to humanity...something we all share...instead. (Wondering if Bravo will ban me for speaking a simple, honest, non-hateful-but-sounds-hateful-so-block-him truth.) P.S. I am a huge jazz fan...about 80% of my favorites are black. And I lust and love after women like there's no tomorrow.
