I find it interesting that you are the only youtuber to have covered this. I wonder if other youtubers in clans are just keeping their heads down to not draw attention to their activities. lol. I wouldnt be suprissed if half the top 50 clans were alts.

That would not suprise Me. It's only now that account boosting is known to the community, and there is a real chance that Rols and some of the other top tiers would be next on the chopping block... so to speak. My only experience in clan wars resulted in me getting mocked by said clan I was part of. I will not say its name, for I despise them that much, but it literally took a bloody YEAR just to finally purge anyway for that clan to harrass me, with my last ties to this atrocious clan of misfits recently cut off from my communication. I am understandably hesitant since, but since I've managed to get into a unique position with a prominent player, I now have the proper opprotunity to possibly join CW at a later date, as He managed to teach me the proper ways to build where others have failed. And I'm looking forward to properly creating a team in preparation for the coming months. Cannot wait to try it out proper with a good team

Sadly I think the whole clan battle system is flawed in that most of the top tier groups stay top tier and continue to grind ore which in turn continues a cycle of their builds getting better and better through relics and fusing said relics. While most other newer players or non-cash players will never even afford a single relic or be able to get into a clan that is at a level to win ore. Those same higher tier players can then use all that ore/gold to build the best fused metas to play in PVP. This isn't a gripe towards those players who have been playing for years and have earned everything by following the rules (or lack there of). It's just an observation that the game continues to build a wider and wider gap between the haves and have nots.

Disbandment and temporary band I agree with, but I think permanent bans are a bit over the top. They weren’t doing anything extreme, like hacking. Knowing the types of players that are in these top tier clans, they have probably spent up to 1000s of hours and dollars on this game. To have it all taken away because of an exploit that, until now, hadn’t really been that big of an issue could be quite upsetting. It was scummy alright, and my clan and I have suffered from clan boosting before, but it wasn’t exactly criminal. At least give them a temporary ban for starters, as a warning.
@Pandalius3 жыл бұрын
I could agree with that, to a certain extent. The issue is is that this clan with abusing the system since the game's launch, not to mention that it has been explicitly against terms of service for a long time. Especially after the incident in which seal clubbing by reducing your score deliberately was also considered abuse of matchmaking, which is very similar. So it's not like they were completely flying blind. Not to mention, if they have the skill, they could easily earn their stuff back after some time in clan wars :^]

I think some of the bans should be permanent. I don't think that paying money should entitle these players to temporary bans status. Mainly because this has been unsportsmanlike behavior, they knew people didn't like it, they knew what they were doing and they did it anyway. I personally despise people who use cheap tactics to win games. They got what the deserved, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
@harmless_p0tato8213 жыл бұрын
@@funnyman540 I agree, paying money shouldn’t entitle you to special treatment. And, its true, they should be punished. However, Gaijin shouldn’t be so quick to completely remove accounts. Like I said, there should at the very least be a warning system, where accounts can get temporary bans in the beginning. Because, what it seems like to me, is that these players were left alone to commit their scandalous behaviour without any repercussions or warnings, and then, suddenly, they just got banned from the game entirely. Sure, their actions were scummy, and they probably knew it, but they most likely never imagined it would be bad enough to earn a permanent ban. If this issue is as old as @Pandalius says it is, then Gaijin should have addressed it earlier and warned them that their actions would have consequences if they carried on with them. I may be wrong, but I generally believe that permanent bans should only be issued if something serious happens, like if someone starts hacking or stealing sensitive information.

To answer your unofficial question about how much ore cost on xbox The price is usually around 400.00 to 550.00 per 10 stack sold. "Excluiding the Quick sell option"

My dude, it was WORSE back when I tried to play the Xbox variant even before I got my hands on the pc version. A bloody legendary will literally cost as much as a relic is to the pc market, and relics are double that even. It was better to simply craft than waste gold there

This video is 60days old,but right now i know so many people that give up playing CW,as they says when you are in rust and facing people from bronze there is nothing fun in it so they dont play any more,when you are in tin and facing people from silver even worse(example:you are team of good players and you and your team mates have only legendary weapons and you facing full relic fused teams,what can you do,no mater how good you are)

Update: TreeBurgers has reached out and said that he wasn't intentionally rank dropping, but rather it was a routine consequence of him playing non-meta or standard builds that would lose to higher ranking clans. He wasn't intentionally losing, just trying different stuff. -Oh yeah, before dropping rank was fixed and made against ToS, he did it on his livestreams pretty regularly. I was even there for one! Felt a bit off, but I guess it was standard practice at the time.- -He doesn't do it now though lol :^]-

@@Pandalius Someone linked me this comment and i feel like some clarification needs to be done here. We have not dropped rank on purpose on any livestream or the like ever. So please, do not spread misinformation like this. It benefits no one. At the time i was in SW4T, we would be anywhere from diamond to bronze, because we spent our early weeks having fun, playing stupid builds. Did we play to lose? No. Did we play bad builds that would likely lose against S Tier teams? Yes. This is not intentional dropping and can not be said to be. The rules have never in the excistense of XO claimed that a player is only allowed to play THE best build they have in storage. Regardless of point dropping / Rank dropping, this is not it. What H4TE has done is to intentionally throw matches. That is something else. We never threw matches. We just sometimes tested out different builds and setups.
@Pandalius3 жыл бұрын
@@TreeBurgers Hey there, thanks for the clarification on your clan activities. So just for simplicity sake: your group would routinely play non-standard or non-meta builds that also did not perform well that caused you to drop score until the end of the season where you would go back to the standard builds? If that's the case, I see where my confusion could come from. It is difficult to discern people intentionally handicapping themselves for the purpose of rank dropping and those just trying out new stuff when they manifest similar outcomes. If that's the case, I can amend the previous comment. As for the claim of you throwing matches, I never made that. I only mentioned rank dropping as a previous issue that was common place before moderation stepped up and clamped down on it. Cheers :^]
