Hi. I'm a Digital Nomad living in Georgia for about 2 months now. Rent is not right. No, you don't find these kind of condos for 300-400$ a month on Airbnb. Maybe in Batumi. In Tbilisi, you gonna find only some crappy ones at this price range. Decent condos are more towards 500$ to 700$/month. Meals for 1$-2$? Not at all. It's more towards 7-10$ per decent meal. People are not that friendly. Of course you find some gentle human beings, but most of them (based on my experience) are kinda rude with foreigners. Nature is beautiful and you have a lot to explore. Bolt (similar to Uber) is really cheap. I didn't find a large digital nomad community here, even if I go to coworkings spaces. No hate at all, just to let you all know what the current situation is. I got here with some expectations and to be honest I got disappointed. Peace ✌

I spent 6 months in Mexico as a digital nomad, 1.5 months in Buenos Aires, 1.5 months in Medellin, 1 month in Bogota, 1.5 weeks in Rio. My favourite city was Mexico City but it's very expensive now like $1600 per month. I like Buenos Aires as well but seems to be a damper in the city due to the inflation problems with their currency. Also, some things are extremely expensive and things just run very slowly. You can only take out $40 USD in cash at a time which is not realistic. The government actually makes it difficult for you to spend money. Had to use Western Union, for the first time in my life. Love the cafes and has a good nomad scene. Airbnb is like $600-$800 per month. Planning on going back to both in a couple months. LOVED Medellin too but Bogota has 10x better food than Medellin, just a heads up.

Hey, man. Small tip/request: please show the names of the cities you name on screen as you say them. This is helpful for countries like Vietnam, where the spelling isn't obvious and for people hard of hearing. Thank you for the vid, it's been really useful in my research.

I'm from Brazil and currently based in Cambodia. I'm still deciding where to go next. You should definitely go to Brazil, check out Florianopolis, a beautiful island in the south, great weather, great vibe, good waves, good food, lots of nomads

Tulum was full of scammers, food was very expensive (15$/ 3 tacos) and uber / grab is not existent and taxis wanted to get 25-35$ for a 10min. ride. I would avoid Tulum..also every bathroom had cartel members selling drugs (even high end beach clubs / restaurants). Peru (Lima) was really nice. Buenos Aires was ok, lots of food options and decent folks. But the food gets tiring after a week as we eat steaks pretty much every day.

We are in Brazil now, and lot of folks don't now about Florianópolis (beach side) which can be a nice destination. I find Brazilians to be more accomodating compared to Argentina / Colombia.

Totally agree in Thailand because I also have visited this country to film one of our TV show episode and I absolutely love it! When it comes to beaches, Thailand didn't just set the bar; it is the bar. White sands, turquoise waters, and coconuts that are basically the unofficial mascots. It's a place where 'Sawasdee' means both 'hello' and 'get ready for the adventure of a lifetime.

has barley really changed since covid? i went there a few times in 2018 and 2019 and was already very touristy but seemed to still have a lot of local culture and be very harmonius. kinda like all the modern amenities and social opportunities of being in a city whilst actually being on a rural tropical island, which is quite unique.

Great video! Glad you're going to see Argentina. They call themselves Argentinos. You'll probably want to bring dollars or euro. If you are going to change them for pesos, they prefer newer $100 bills at the cambios. Which are often NOT open on weekends. Going to Buenos Aires? The recommended gringo neighborhoods are Recoleta or Palermo for a reason! Hope you have a great trip. Also, I really liked Portugal near Porto (but on the beach) and Malta, though not in the winter time. Georgia sounds great! I'm thinking Dutch Antilles next.

As a brazilian, i recommend Florianopolis for nomads. Its much safer than Rio, its a lot cheapier and in my opinion even more beautiful. The only problem is that in the winter can get cold, different than the northeast where is always hot. Really like your video, best wishes if you come to brazil and wants more info send me a message.

Thailand is still king of the condos. Mine in BKK costs $360 per month, rooftop pool, nice gym, coworking etc. Around Bearing BTS or further you can get insane deals too for 1 year. Vietnam is sweet for price too....but no insane condos like bangkok, however i feel like in danang/hoi an its like half the price of Bangkok.

Very useful information. I'm not sure Mexico's so cheap anymore. I was there in August, and prices had increased significantly. I'm not sure about the visa situation in Vietnam, check first. I know their now issuing a three-month visa but I'm not sure it can be renewed, although visa runs are possible. I've been to all the countries you've mentioned, and they're all great. Love Brazil, you must go. You should check the political situation in Turkey since it's very close to Israel and Palestine, otherwise, it's a great country.

@@TheLifeOfJord True, the Mayan Riviera is expensive compared to a place like Oaxaca. If you go to less-known destinations, it's still quite cheap. It's the real trendy places like the PV area, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, or Cabo that are pricy. A place like San Cristobal de las Cases is beautiful and still fairly cheap. Morelia is also nice and cheaper and closer to major sites in Mexico. Unfortunately, nomads and retirees tend to head for the same places and push up prices significantly.

Vallarta matches those 3 the best, there are great surfing beaches nearby though not in the city. You might like Playa del Carmen although the surfing waves are small due to the reef. Quite a lot of places in Mexico for surf if you're willing to skip the "digital nomad community." Some love Puerto Escondido but internet is still an issue in 2024. You might like to stay in Oaxaca City and visit Puerto Escondido, the new highway has shortened the trip between the two.

@@SkateSpace2012 If you like traffic jams, they don't get worse than Bali, especially Kuta and Seminyak. At least in Jakarta the traffic keeps moving and there are big roads. I remember sitting for an hour in Seminyak not moving an inch. Also everyone is much much friendlier in Jakarta than in Bali where they treat you as a tourist to be ripped off.
