That's a good observation she made and that's something some people don't get about the dialogues in Pulp Fiction. They aren't "LOL RANDOM". They are classic examples of subtext: what the characters are saying is almost secondary to what their way of talking says about them; about who they are and how they relate to each other.

@@KwolfxThere are many scenes in the movie which are copied from other movies like when there is a scene in the movie after the boxing guy took his watch from the house and left his house when he finished Vincent and then when he was in his car he stopped at a red light where he coincidentally he met the guy who wants to kill him as he was crossing the road and looked into the car,the whole scene is inspired from Alfred Hitchcock Psycho where the main girl stole the money from his boss and then met his boss on traffic stop

Little psychological preferences like that are weird. I don't even eat fast food, as a rule. Years ago, a [really beautiful] co worker, leaned back in her chair, and sighed that she was craving a McDonald's fish sandwich. Sadly, been hooked ever since (on the sandwich...). It was really my wonderful introduction to America (via Israel).

The case is simply a MacGuffin, but my favorite theory is that it contains Marcellus Wallace's soul. This tracks with the combo being 666 and the bandage on Wallace's head where his soul was taken from.
