Your little tree has nice 3 to 4 side branches. You must have pruned if not hacked the young sapling in half to promote these lively 3 to 4 side branches. Can you please make a video on how and when to prune if not hack a young Avocado sapling, plant or tree. I have noticed that most people fear such a heartless pruning job, but in the long run, which is only a few months away, the sapling, plant or tree take a better shape and grows much better, rather than just growing straight up. Hey, doing a good job. I may be wrong and stand corrected but I think: 1. 350 gms of fertilizer is way too much for a seedling per. 2. Top dressing should be spread in different splits per year not one "huge" split.

In subsequent years, apply 200 to 400g CAN per tree, per year depending on the crop potential. Apply rates in two to four splits to avoid losses due to leaching or scorching of roots

Sorry Wanjau, took too long to reply. I think you need to do a market study on the acceptable variety. There is Pinkerton, giant and golden all Cultivars of Hass. You will be advised from then which ones is fetching better prices. FYI Pinkerton is small in size and only a few exporters prefer it. For the beds at least 1.5ft up will do.
