I have the same tractor, minus the cab. I purchased the custom made 3rd function protector plate as well as the plate to hide and protect the other hoses where they plug in for the loader. The guy in Canada who does the custom Mods , does a great job and the stuff is worth the money when you consider how much is a stake if you screw it up. My 1st visit to your videos, keep it up !

Thank you sir! You are not the first to share the high quality of the pieces from the gentleman in Canada, might be worth it to bite the bullet like you said, cheaper to protect it then replace...and hydraulic fluid is also so expensive!! Thanks for watching!

Good morning Alex, I love the thumbnail. Excellent selection of add-ons. I have to say that is such an awesome tractor that you have. I watched your 1 year review last night, very impressive. Thanks kindly for the shout-out. I am subscribed to Sawing with Sandy and I will check out Academy Farm later today. Keep up the great videos!

Morning Paul, sorry my frenchness kept moving your that S from Outdoor to Jelen...ha ha. Very pleased with the tractor, especially this HST pedal vs the regular heel/toe type.

Couldn't agree with you more, Alex. The cab is the best "add-on". That was my number 1 as well. Great list even when you get them active. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! Wouldn't say no to a BX as a second tractor though!

Fun quick video. Jealous of your "tractor bed" though. Carrying everything in the bucket isn't super practical.

Nice video. It seems like everybody agrees about the cab, my mistake for not getting one. You will love the grapple when you get it. Subbed, liked and watched complete. Keep up the good work!

Thanks! I do dream of owning a grapple ..just other more important expenses coming up.

Have you ever considered a Back-Up Camera for you L4060? If you have I'd be all over that...just not sure how to remove the overhead interior panel in the cab as I'm not mechanically inclined. Thanks again for another useful video. Cheers.

Good morning Alex, great tractor add ons video. You are going to love your grapple. Have a good one, Ben ☕️

Morning Ben! Unfortunately the grapple is high on the Want list but low on the Need list...one day!

A bit late seeing your channel but I’ve enjoyed catching up with a few of your videos. I too have a Grand L4060 - got it in 2019 and absolutely love it. When you mentioned lots of snow, mosquitos, black flies, and deer flies, I knew for sure you live in eastern Canada (that very slight accent was also a giveaway!). I got the cab for the same reasons you did. I have all the add-on’s you have (or will have except one), and many more. I don’t have the air ride seat but have you checked the manuals to be absolutely sure there isn’t a PTO safety switch bypass built in? I can’t imagine Kubota not including that for things like running a chipper, skidded, etc. The one thing I don’t yet have is the skid plate for the hydraulic lines. My 100 acres is on the Canadian Shield and is very rocky with little topsoil, and so far I have never had an issue hitting the lines, but I did have one close call on a boulder I didn’t see in the long grass. The one sold by Paul and Kathy Short looks excellent but as you said, it’s very expensive. If you find something at a reasonable price elsewhere or make your own, it would be a good video topic! I wish I had time for my own channel but life is too busy just yet. For now I’ll enjoy watching you and others - I have subscribed.

Guilty as charged hahaha! I am indeed in Eastern Ontario and English is my 2nd language. I have looked really hard and a couple forum posts and it seems the air ride seat is the problem but the solution I found is very very simple. I have some metal lying around, might try to Macgyver something. 100 acres in the Canadian Sheild I'm jealous! Not a pebble on the property... Thanks for watching !

@@brokenpinesfarm I have known, worked with, and continue to be friends with many fellow Québécois Canadians, so I recognized the slight accent. I only wish my French was half as good as your English! Bummer about the seat but I’m sure you’ll implement a fix. I’d gladly trade you 50 acres of rock for 50 acres of good soil!
@brokenpinesfarm Жыл бұрын
@@profdave2861 careful good sir these are fighting words 😉 franco-ontarian, not Quebecois haha! The fix has been implemented, it is in a recent video! I am very thankful for the good soil with the orchard and tree farm projects ! Just hope I could own something with a stunning view and a little cottage.

@@brokenpinesfarm Ah yes… the word culture. Strangely, my “Franco-Ontarian” friends seem to refer to themselves and their families with different descriptions. I like to think we’re all Canadian but I know how sensitive that is, particularly in certain parts of Quebec. In the early part of my career (early ‘80’s) I worked for a large aluminum company and flew up and back to the Saguenay/Lac St John area at least twice a month during the days of Parti Quebecois. In those day in that area, you really had to be careful what words you used! In any case, I’m glad you have a fix for the PTO lock-out switch. I haven’t had time to catch up with all your videos but I’ll get there!
@johnbrunetto6 ай бұрын
the seat forward should allow the PTO to be active. If not something is wrong.

Nice tractor Alex and great list 👍🏻. I also just subscribed 👍🏻. You got your tractor from the same dealer so you’re not that far from me. I’m across the river on the Québec side. Have a great weekend Alex 👍🏻🙋🏼♂️🙂🇨🇦
