Fairly aligned with Ryan that trying to stabilize the oline pre draft is the way. This idea of drafting all new IOL is odd. What happens if on draft weekend everyone you want goes....just draft the next best one? Not a great plan. Dalman and Becton as an example give you a probably upgrade and the security if you miss at draft or the opportunity to take the actual best player available. Still could be a guard but maybe someone else. Respect to our players but there's no stars right now and no room that is truly set where you can't add a better player to it.

I love Bryce’s plan: go old on offense and young on defense. Spend the big coins on offensive line and draft Dline. I dont see how JS could go young on offense until he gets a new contract extension. 1. Dalman at Center. 2. Sign a mid-tier guard- anyone but Bechton. I thought he had overweight and work ethic issues with the Jets. Is he gonna slack off again once he hits pay dirt? 3. First round: best available talent and hopefully thats Dline or TE 4. 2nd round: tackle/guard 5. 3rd round: linebacker Finally Geno: yup $30 mm. Who are we really competing with for Geno? Raiders will to go young with either Darnold or draft. Dont see how the Giants mgmt can sell Geno to the NY market. Dabo/Schoener will sell to ownership the promise of a Sanders/Ward and hope they get another contract extension. Who else would want Geno?

Becton, this year with Eagles has looked really good. Watch some of the tape with him this year. But I honestly believe they will address the oline in a major way in FA

@ I hope youre right! In that approach, I prefer they go for midtier quality consisten starters at center and guards instead of one record deal for the guard from KC and garbage at center. I want us to draft the best available player at 18 and not another desperate need like LJ Collier. i dont doubt your analysis of Bechtons play this year at all. Seems like Stoutland and him have done well. Is he the next Leonard Davis or he wont sustain the drive to work once toting home the bag? One Riq Woolen on the team seems already too many for me. My head might explode if we end up with another. Also, how can we account for the effecfs of Lane Johnson and Dickerson on his game? Inflate his actual play?

It's very simple with Gino's contract. Start at 55 million a year and subtract 3 million for every redzone. Interception, over the last 2 years. And I don't even know if that's fair for us. The average value of his last contract was 25 million a year. Now, does anybody think he got better over the last 2 years? No I don't think so. Geno needs to look at himself in the mirror and ask himself. Honestly. Honestly, if he elevates the team or does he need a team around him to win? And once he realizes the latter, I think 24 to 25 million a year is appropriate. Or just outbeat everyone for Sam. Darnald.

For me he needs to really prove it since he's been anointed and texas is a good to great team. Beck....honestly think he's kind of a JAG. Klubnick...definitely intrigued. Leavitt? I'd like to see a big jump in accuracy. Intriguing. More names for sure. With a thin class this year it pushes folks up. I just remember last year folks saying watch out for milroe. I was one btw. Now he looks like a mid to late round flyer. Same with leonard. Ewers was a 5 star recruit but he's all over the place draft wise.
