There’s fuel injection everywhere possible on the engine: primed pre blower, ported into the intake valves, and at high pressure right into the chamber!

@@johnobrien6052 Absolutely, methanol already has a 2:1 H to O ratio, and combined with nitromethane, which about autoignites absent of air, we are able to have insane levels of horsepower. Without the need for water cooling for the 400 or so crank rotations needed for a 1/4 mi. Last time I’ve seen top fuel was in the 70’s with my dad. I really need to go again!!

Does it work with water? I wanna create one of a kind sound system shower using the water flow itself as a speaker. you should only hear the music if the water is hitting you. I wanna hook up a bunch of fuel injectors on the ceiling and walls of the shower hooked up to a amplifier. the smaller injectors should be able to pick up the tremble, the bigger injectors should pick up the bass. Will it work with water?

It's for BOTH powering the engine and cooling it down, since top fuel isn't using any cooling but the oil and the fuel😅 no wonder why is flowing like a rain

Regardless of the volume accuracy, the point that it takes a shit load of nitromethane fuel to produce 11,000+ horsepower is well made 👍

Actually, the power comes from the Roots supercharger... Being as the fuel produces it's own oxygen, by forcing more air thru the blower, it allows you to throw more fuel at it. Keep in mind they can only run 90%nitro methane, not 100%.

Add to that the 55-60° of timing and the 2 - 44amp magnitos giving it a long burn time per cylinder, that's where the power comes from.

@@johnobrien6052 I haven’t kept up with the rules lately but it seems like the 90/10 fuel blend ratio maximum would be a requirement according to the rule book 🤷‍♂️.
