@@bigwinzYou really went out of your way to mix it with shit, didn't you? Gollum isn't even a game - it's a pathetic uninspired attempt to pretend to be a game due to awful development. It had unusual quirks and mechanics and neat tactics gameplay flow (unfortunate that as soon as game expects you to be tactical and strategic, most people's brains shut down and they start whining that they can't just button mush to victory or easily run past enemies like in every other part). Let alone the fact that PvP and invasions in this part are still the best and there are still players on the arena even after 11 years. In other words, every part of the franchise has its glaring issues and advantages, don't let KZbinr parrots make you biased and rob yourself of experience you could actually enjoy (the latter one is about everything in general, not only DS franchise).

@@bigwinzNot objective at all. I think DS2 is better than both 1 and 3.
@zzodysseuszz Жыл бұрын
@@bigwinz you can’t say something is objectively one thing but then be completely wrong. Ds2 is objectively the best game in the series, it is measurably and consistently better than the others in almost every category. That is not debatable Edit: the man below me is demonstrating a severe misunderstanding of what objective means. The objective of graphics is to portray visuals usually without confusion. This is the objective of graphics. It is too relative to be accurately measured across games, but is also too low of a bar to be consistently compared in order to categorised. Therefore, no game in the series is objectively better with graphics by comparing categories because graphics cannot be fit into a category. Sure, “graphics categorised by year can be compared” but on what basis, what even are the requirements, and how would that somehow function with the souls series which never released on the same year or even close to each other. It is a nonsensical category. Ds2 is the only game in the series which maintained its objectives consistently throughout the entire game for all of its categories. The other games did not come even slightly close to accomplishing that. Final point; objective and subjective are not mutually exclusive terms. I do not know why so many people seemingly cannot comprehend what these terms mean and how they function. Maybe these people are just stupid.

I always hate that in video games… you play as some badass adventurer capable of scaling mountains, double jumping, punching dragons… but you see a shrub and it’s a ducking immovable object and completely impassable. Or fall damage… especially in Dark Souls, I can lift a 500lb sword and fight massive monsters, block a hit that is the equivalent to getting hit by a truck at 70mph and absorb that impact with my back and legs, but I drop 20 feet and I just fucking die? Hahaha Regular parkour athletes jump off of buildings all the time! I’ve personally done a drop with a roll from a 2 story roof just fine but a dragon slaying beast just falls over dead. Okay. I understand the games need boundaries, but do something more creative.. add poison fog, magic plants with paralyzing toxin, or something more creative than “You’re too weak to push through a shrub with your massive magic sword and full plate armor.” or “You dropped down this little ledge and we’re startled to death a roach in the grass below.” As much as I love the new GoW games I get annoyed when I’m spending 20 mins on a puzzle and I’m like… “Kratos could literally just casually hop up to that second floor.. he could bitchslap that crumbly old wall down and just go straight through here… why am I climbing this zigzag? I could just toss the boy up there easily and have him kick that chain down.” But the game is so fun and I enjoy the dialogue so I don’t mind going slow so I can listen to them talk… that’s my one exception!

The single greatest dark souls 2 video ever produced and uploaded to youtube.
@markvandenthillart5739 Жыл бұрын
I hardly ever comment on videos, but this seriously is your best one so far. I genuinely can't see how you'd possibly top it. the top gear/grand tour editing and pacing, the glitches used, the voice-overs, the little shots from James May's different series that fit beautifully, the level of entertainment from start to finish... it's a testament to your talent that no one even mentions the not one, but three absolutely ridiculous challenges you set yourself for this video. stellar job, and congratulations!
@lucasm.3864 Жыл бұрын
I’ve never seen Top Gear before, but this was hilarious and creative as hell. Who needs a single challenge video when you can have three?

You honestly don't even need to be a car guy to enjoy the show. If the humor on display here got you, the show likely will as well. The OG trio are just fantastic to watch do anything.

This is one of the best Dark Souls videos and overall one of the best videos ever made on this platform. A prime example of why this platform ideally exists. Every time it pops up in my feed I wind up watching it, it just never gets boring.

@MrEvan3129 ай бұрын
This was unbelievably accurate, down to the captured personalities of the three presenters. Jeremy: Goes for the most power, but is hampered by his absolute ignorance. Despite this he achieves results by refusing to give up. Richard: Goes for the most speed, but is hampered by a lack of power. He overcomes this with his immense practicality and resourcefulness. James: Goes for slow and steady, but is hampered by his unbendable pride. He overcomes this with intellect and his amassed collection of random knowledge. Not only that but the amount of work that this required to put together from the filming, editing, working with the AI voices, and combining it all in a way that matches the spirit of the OG Top Gear series is nothing short of astonishing. May this always be a treasured video.
