As much as I am a very biased American , and id love to believe we have the best car shows. Top Gear UK was by far the best car show ever. The American version was a joke in comparison. I remember watching it growing up and loving it. Top class.

I don’t know if you are looking for an argument, but you probably won’t find one especially from an American on what you said.. 🤷‍♂️ I’ve never seen any Americans say that the American version is better than the British..? Works both ways with TV and movies! Some are better at some things, and some are better at others like the American office. Probably the first show people think about when copying. American version is a million times better. 95% of people will agree with me probably more. I am very aware that there are people that think the British version of the office is better.. 🤯 yeah it’s not sorry haha

As someone from Alabama, I hate when the whole state is portrayed this way. Don't let videos like this give you a bad view of us. Even if that whole thing was completely real and not staged at all, now a days those kind of people only exist openly in the bubbles of those small little shithole towns like they were in. It's still isn't any different. Fuel is about $3.80 per gallon now in the U.S. and is still much cheaper than in the UK and Europe. Right now, the UK is over 7 dollars per US gallon.

When I drove through the south, as soon as I got to the Alabama border, all music stations were cut off the radio and every station was bible thumping preachers. Just dozens of fire and brimstone sermons. So glad we were there for just one night, in Birmingham. IT is amazing the gullibility and cult hood of some areas of this country.

I disagree with Dave because I think that the panic with the crew using soda to rinse off the paint was 100% real. If you watch the whole episode, after they leave the gas station they were followed by a bunch of cars. They were genuinely concerned for their health and safety.

This was 100% staged. I would bet they even paid those people at the gas station telling them they would be on tv to act stereotypical redneck. If someone really wanted to hurt you in Alabama or any other "redneck" part of the South, they simply hurt you.
