Once again, no mention of Royal Navy Air Warfare School instructors Dick Lord and Paul Waterhouse. They were instrumental in planning the syllabus from Top Gun. Without their knowledge, it wouldn't have started for years. The late Dick Lord was a South African friend of mine and I'm honoured to have a editot's copy of his first book.

I don't care what field you're in, you always need proper training. I was a Medic. If we don't have monthly training exercises, alot of the medical knowledge gets forgotten about. Thank goodness for Fort Irwin, California. The OPFOR will put you through the ringer, but it's outstanding training. 29 Palms is good training for the US Marines as well. I miss it.
