Hi Kirtee.. Thanks a lot for appreciating.. You can apply these for personal account too, but not on a private account.. Because most of the discovery happen either through hashtags and explore feed. And, since private account's posts are also private, instagram cannot display them to any non-follower, hence, the reach gets extremely limited.

It's really informative..thank you making such videos...i wish i would have been informed about such don'ts before but i did some mistakes..tbh i opened my insta account just few months ago in March and to gain more followers i did that method of following and unfollowing..i gained some followers that time and i felt guilty somehow then i stopped doing it when my followers went to 400...then by the time my followers grew automatically without any external tricks or buying followers..though now i have 900 followers still my likes are barely 150...can you tell how can i sort this issue... without making my account public...please.

Because private account neither appear in hashtag searches/suggestions nor in the explore feed. And these are two main ways to discover new content and accounts.. so, I would suggest that you can keep your personal and work/hobby accounts separate. No.. this isn't true.. Mera bhi business page tha.. I recently converted it to a creator profile.. but, not private! Sab public hai.. and keeping your profile public gives you better reach. Just make sure the account is secured, for example - two factor authentication enable kar lena so that no one can hack it.

Don't worry.. I understand your pain.. this was the case with me too earlier.. but I made my account public and started using related hashtags on posts and stories.. it has given a spike to my reach and now I get about 600 to 1000 likes and sometimes I even crossed 3000 likes.. So, I recommend that you set your account to public and if it is not possible, then maybe you create a separate public account for showcasing your talent 😉
