Why does it seem some were shorter/longer times than others? I know about the social service enlistment length, but sone of the others seemed strange...?

I thought 2020 was the year that didn't exist but to me this feels like I lost the whole last year (again) as well like I could have sworn some of those were only a year and others longer ago..like "What even is time?"
