One of the best live bands ever... if they don't make you dance, you're probably dead.

Stealing the pygmies talents to make money and now they think they are the one who invent the rythm. Always like this . Scammers all over this matrix.

@@mysterieuseenvoyee2432 This is definitely copyright violation and exploitation of the original pygmy songs.

@@mysterieuseenvoyee2432 Its a cover version. You can hear the original version on this channel at kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWGznKmwh9yiipY Any money that is made from this track goes to the Baka through globalmusicexchange.org We've never claimed we invented any of this. Tell me who/what we're scamming

Hello all. Isn't this some kind of cultural appropriation? Please advise.
@henri-paulbolap14694 жыл бұрын
@@bakabeyond Thanks for the explanations. Just asking. I didn't make any accusations. As I am very close to these people, having been born in Southeast Cameroon, they are my neighbors. Therefore, I know how poor they may beà and know about cultural appropriation from the late Elvis Presl;ey and so on. Their music struck me with its beauty for the first time in the 60s.

@@henri-paulbolap1469 Hi Henri-Paul, I hope you are well during this difficult time. Having read your initial comment I thought it an honest one. The snippy comment in response was unnecessary in may opinion. For you to not get further feedback, having explained your concern, does not reflect well on the author of the original response. The implication of racism was not only shocking but quite frankly appalling and unwarranted. Best wishes.

How much of your daily life is originally yours? Those that claim cultural appropriation live in and adopt cultures that were not theirs.

Tu as parfaitement raison pourquoi ne pas faire un concert avec les auteurs compositeurs de ces chansons ! Pendant ce temps, ces pygmées de l'est du Cameroun souffrent de pauvreté.
