How is FORE? The issue is, I work in automotive sales and based on my performance, my CTC reaches very close to their average package. There’s a healthy chance my placement gives 0 gains in terms of the money earned but I know it’ll be a job with more growth. Will only tier 1 justify an MBA in my case or should I settle for something like FORE or MICA. I’m 22.

Depends on your profile as well. If you have the CV to crack the top IIMs/FMS/CL/MDI and so on then you can take another crack at the entrances. If not, you may take up FORE/MICA.

NIRMA is also a good option in this range. It hasn’t done amazing things over the last few years but overall it’s a solid option. I would still recommend an XIMB/IMI/IMT/TAPMI over it though

You can never be sure that you would do good next year ...in my opinion go with a decent bschool like imt g or imi and don't choose to wait for another year

If you are getting those scores without prep then I think you should go for another serious attempt with that profile. The first thing I would recommend is to take up a job or an internship or a freelancing assignment or a course or something to keep you occupied for 5-6 hours a day in addition to your CAT prep. That should help you with your CV as well.

Your profile is way better than your CAT percentile. Would suggest that you think about another attempt if you haven’t prepared formally or even go for an exec program if somehow you haven’t been able to crack the CAT/XAT/NMAT/SNAP over the last couple of years. If this is not an option then go for the list of colleges I have mentioned.

But don't think ki Mumbai hoga. Also, I don't want to get into a average college. Aapka Video bhi dekha tha last on NMIMS, that no one you know that say that they are not regretting joining this college. As a Backup, I was thinking to go for CA course, (start prep from May-June), After MH-CET, if I do not get a good college this year, finish it, and rethink of MBA after the completion, after I am 25-26 yrs old. I know thoda out of context ho gaya. But do you think this is okay. I'm not willing to retake CAT in 2025, FORM bharte bharte thoda halat kharab hai.....dekhiye agar aap reply de sako toh. It’s a pretty decent institute and can be considered. Although it has lost a bit of sheen over the last decade or so. The cutoffs vary wildly and can be anything from 70-85 percentile. I missed putting it in this list.

Till when can you withdraw your fees without incurring significant penalty? If you can wait till April then you should have more clarity wrt CAP calls. I think you should be able to convert quite a few of them so given your profile, IIMs seem to be better in the long run.

You will also need confirmation on till when can you withdraw the entire amount. Generally it is before the academic session starts. Also you can ask the college itself to help you with an education loan or reach out to a nearby bank or an education loan provider. They should be able to advise you on this.

I would suggest you convert IRMA and then take a call. If you can manage a 90 percentile at the CAT, you should have a shot at many of the IIMs so if IRMA doesn’t excite you much, take up a job and prepare for CAT 25. Would not suggest a gap year.

I think you should go for the processes and see how they go. If you crack NMIMS you should definitely take it up. With your profile, I can’t confidently see a lot of better colleges giving you converts. If that doesn’t happen you can take a call in the next couple of months. For now, prepare for the competency assessment and the interview.
