I low-key appreciate the irony of her saying "my mum was never there and missed out on all of my events because of her job" while her kid is trying to get her attention for half of her training call. You can't make this up. MLMs encourage their distributors to miss out on their kids' birthdays and matches and graduation, and even attend (unpaid, of course) team meetings on their own wedding day, but go on I guess.

To be fair, oak trees have shallow root systems. Here in Atlanta, a few tend to topple over after a torrential downpour because the soil gets too soft for their roots to maintain their grip. Even when they're alive, their shallow roots slowly push up and break any pavement surfaces nearby.

Girl, I live in Louisiana, and we just went through another significant hurricane on the 16th ANNIVERSARY of Katrina! Trees were uprooted, and so many businesses shut down and cannot come back! Like, sure, be consistent if you’re wanting to build a business. That argument is valid. But her toxic positivity and her lack of accounting for the unexpected and REALITY is absurd. And the fact that she’s saying “If you’re not doing self development, you’re not working hard enough.” And, the religion shaming and faith shaming is so just. . . Toxic, toxic, toxic. I was with ItWorks for a bit, and the type of self-development stuff they shared wasn’t always motivational. It was toxic positivity stuff or toxic motivation. Saying you’re not motivated or disciplined enough if you’re not doing XYZ. And they’d bully you if you weren’t using their “approved” self-development practices. And the amount of inconsiderate attitudes towards getting proper sleep or prioritizing other parts of your life is so ridiculous. Pressuring you to listen to these video conferences while you’re driving. Like, honey, no. I wanna listen to my music, thanks.

Let me give her the 5 real reasons a “business” fails. 1. The whole business model is built on everyone’s but the tippity top to fail. 2. MLM products and services are overpriced. 3. The market is over saturated. 4. More and more people are aware of what MLMS are and don’t want to have anything to do with them. 5. The compensation plans are built around making more money through recruiting than selling and it’s a daunting task for the vast majority of people.

Okay no seriously for real: as a Christian, do these women not realize certain spiritual metaphors work only in the context of your relationship with Christ vs worldly matters? Like being "rooted" in Christ is because you believe He's God, He has plans for you, He'll make everything turn out for the good etc etc etc, *but* where in the Bible does it say to be "rooted" in that immovable manner in anything else, much less "material" things like a job or money? This is the exact mindset that is used to keep people in abusive situations, "Oh stay faithful, stay devoted, stay *rooted* and God will reward you" _nooooooooooooooo_ God does not call you to be rooted in something that harms you, whether an abusive marriage _or_ a scam. Sorry for the sermon but their faith manipulation is just repulsive to me.

All of these people are so inarticulate though. They can barely make it through a sentence without a thousand "like"s , "um"s, and just repeating the same things over and over because they cant make their point in any other way than with the cookie cutter phases they've learned by heart. And why do they all suck so bad at using indirect speech lmao.. I can't imagine how this is inspiring to anyone honestly. I get not speaking perfectly well all the time, we all do it of course and it's normal, but some of these people just look like they're suffering through the struggle of trying to construct a sentence. Horrific. For a "business owner" especially

I love her now more natural look. You see now even more how beautiful she is.

Its her ignoring her childs coughing and crying to talk so much nonsense. She sounds like a drunk person trying to convince you she is not drunk
