I can't get over how INSANE Jessie Lee sounds throughout this video. The fact that she put the physical safety of the people that went on this trip is just insane. I served several years in the Army and even at peak of physical health, the idea of walking in the sun at mid-day is crazy. We would never go on a mission and tell our team "hints" and expect them to ask the "correct questions". You give everyone the task, conditions, and standard BEFORE you set out. I just want to point out something here that gets lost in all the active things she did - but there’s a very important thing she DIDN’T do. She says “I’m like, is there a 911 for Columbia?” I’m sorry, how do you organize any trip to another country without looking up the country’s emergency number, even if you’ll just be lounging in the hotel? How do you plan an extended group hike, even if it’s in your home town, without making sure you know how to get in touch with emergency services and let them know where you are? I hosted a friend’s bachelorette AT MY HOUSE and her maid of honor and I still had extended plans and back up plans and med supplies for how do we keep people back from the cliff, how do we make the campfire safe, how many working phones will we have (it’s a bad service area), how much water should we stock in the car when we go out for the day, what happens if someone gets too drunk, what happens if there’s a bee’s nest in the campfire, what if someone is allergic to bees… you need to PLAN for these things!

I am not even sure how to address ever aspect of this that is so negligent. I was at one point in my life a high level athlete. I actually did endurance sports but trained for years. I swam the English channel and that was 14h. But I trained for years. Acclimation to the temperature to eating and hydration. The amount of training that went into me doing events was un real. 90 days in a gym will not prepare you for that. You have to prepare in like climate. She is extremely lucky no one died. I hope the right person find this and she faces jail time.I hate people that have ZERO actually certification in health saying all this bullshit. I also don’t understand how she is still a leader. The whole thing is bad enough but I can't believe they did this in a foreign country. She didn't even know what emergency medical services would be available. As a certified personal trainer, this is breaking every single rule in the book. There are so many things wrong here, not least of which is that she told them to be "training" but didn't tell them what they were training for? You could be an incredibly fit person and still not have the right training for a 15 hour hike. If I did something like this I would be sued and lose my license. Additionally, as a person with chronic health conditions, I feel absolutely awful for the people who could not adequately prepare. I am a very fit person, but because of genetics my blood pressure does not regulate itself, especially in high heat. An excursion like this without proper notice would quite literally kill me. I can't believe she thought that there was any way that this would be ok....
@ilikebeingsmart Жыл бұрын
It’s so odd watching this back and knowing in retrospect that she was having abnormal bleeding during this trip and explanation. Her body was telling her it was sick and needed help, and yet she’s preaching getting healthy (and being a pinnacle of health herself) to her downline. It’s disheartening to watch people who were on this trip now, and the effect it, and her death, had on them. I had a friend die who was not very nice to me before she passed, and it took me a long time to reconcile that I could be sad that she died, but that she didn’t treat me well and took advantage of my kindness and empathy. This Columbia experience, in my opinion, messed with her team, so that after she died (and the fact that MLM hustle culture gives you no time to grieve) they couldn’t figure that discrepancy out for themselves. It’s very sad to watch, and I feel for them deeply.

It goes to show how messed up JLW thinks, and how she believes everyone else acts as sneaky and calculated as she does constantly. It also goes to show how controlling and manipulative JLW is, being that by having to ask how many tampons she needed, was the only way anyone would get a hint as to how much of their own time would be spent who knows where. I was in Cartagena in April, and the humidity is no joke there. Houston has nothing on the damp air there. I got overheated on a leisurely bike ride. This was so dangerous. If there were bathrooms on this hike, they would've had to pay to use them. The only free public restrooms I saw in Colombia were in museums or hotels. The ones in parks and hikes were not free. Around 36:30, Erin was asking about passports and waivers. To enter Colombia you have to fill out a form no sooner than 24 hours before entering the country letting them know you are there and why you are there and how long you will be there. I'm assuming JLW (or one of her minions most likely) did this for them. Because the form clearly states it for the country of Colombia. The more you dig into this "trip" the more illegal it starts to become. Honestly, I hope this doesn't dissuade anyone from vacationing in Colombia. It is truly a magical country full of some of the most amazing people. Big cities like Bogota, Medellin and Cartagena are just as modernized as any American city. From what I could tell, their healthcare system is just as good as ours. In fact, a lot of Americans go to Colombia for cosmetic surgery, because it is a lot less expensive and just as good. During this winter weather we're experiencing in the middle part of America, I've been looking at real estate in Cartagena. I would not think twice about moving there. Well, now that I'm good and pissed off, I guess I need to go start my day. So grateful for my big bad corporate America job where my boss treats me like a grown-ass human being and I've never been kidnapped and tricked into a 15 hour hike for the amusement of my leaders. One more thing - You know there are some people in her downline who were not on this trip who will bend over backwards and do anything possible to be kidnapped next time. My heart breaks for those people. Ok...one more thing later - I'm at the point where she has them in a boat at midnight and she is forcing them to jump out of the boat. This is very clever on her part. In the States, this could be classified as hazing, and hazing is illegal at least 40 states, including Texas. She knew she could not get away with this stunt here.

something that i didn’t even think about while i was watching the live is that since they didn’t know that they would be gone for thst long that they wouldn’t have told their husbands/people etc thst they wouldn’t be able to communicate with them that whole time either..and would most likely have their families worried about them as well. 🙄

So what if the people on the trip texted their loved ones and said “going on a hike, I’ll text you when we’re back in a few hours” and then went missing for 24 hours in another country?

I don’t say this lightly but as she is so excited at the idea breaking down people, being the leader so they must listen, and scaring them on a supposedly fun girls trip, she should talk to a professional 😳

Aside from nearly killing people on this trip, Jessie Lee is so insufferable. I can't with her storytelling and mimicking the way everyone walks and talks.

Jesse Lee Ward proudly and publicly represents Pruvit Ketones. This video is part of her Pruvit Ketones sales and recruitment pitch. If her irresponsible leadership behavior criminally harms someone in her Pruvit-contracted sales team, she will be doing it while representing Pruvit and with their approval.

Hi Julie Jo! I’ma big fan of yours and all your videos! My ex wife got sucked into monat and wasted TONS of my money, so seeing you expose these disgusting “people” Is so great! I’m only about 5 minutes into this video so far, but this “thing” is absolutely HORRID treating her “friends” this way! These mlms are SO disgusting! Monat (partially) ruined my marriage, my ex REFUSES to see how destructive it is to her entire life! I just hope you can show at least ONE person that these are huge scams! You’re great! Keep doing what you do! So much love and respect!

Is she on meth? She’s lost soooo much weight. She does not look healthy at all. She might not be on it but , but she seems off like she’s on something and borderline bipolar or something. But anyways, this is disgusting. She sees nothing wrong with this. And she literally has been way prepared for this hike. They would have needed at least a year! She probably has been training for this for a year at least.

I am so glad that this was reported to the Home company. I honestly don’t think it will do any good though. I firmly believe that all of these MLM companies have set things up in a manner to keep them from being liable for pretty much anything one of theirsellers does. I think this is why top sellers can do and say things that are against policy, illegal, and even abusive, and the company still chooses not to take action. The company just has to say “we told them in our policies not to do ______” and we can’t control what they do.

Going to the gym and going for an outdoor hike in a non-controlled climate, in a new altitude on the side of a road in a new country are wildly different. Someone who’s weight lifting may not be prepared for a hike in the hot hot sun.

Through this entire story, she repeatedly explains that the reason anyone suffered is because THEY didn't listen to HER. This "exercise" was absolutely about control and teaching everyone a "lesson" about needing to follow her without question.

I left a comment over on Erin's video too. I am stunned. This is 100% how you get someone to blindly follow you. Sleep deprivation, food deprivation, excess exercise....this is honestly scary. This is literally how NXIVM was created for crying out loud!

All of this for an MLM? I won’t even organize a game of dizzy bay because I’m afraid of staff getting harmed and she’s got them hiking in dangerous areas for 15 hours?! Unbelievable.

This is pure insanity and downright dangerous. She’s withholding crucial information that would help her team to better prepare for this hike. For such endeavors, usually people prepares months in advance and brings all the required equipment and supplies, while planning for emergencies. This is downright abuse.

Also, if someone told me we were going on a two hour hike, I'm going to believe them and not hound them about telling me the actual length of time. And I'm only packing for the two hours, not fifteen or whatever.

She sells a ketone product and doesn't know diabetes?🥴🥴🤦🤦 A blood sugar in the 200's after rigorous exercise is a sign that she neeeeds carbs. Heavy exercise causes a blood sugar rise that isn't actually a rise. It's a warning of a crash as soon as their gut wakes back up.

I practice a martial art, and we do hardship trainings. 2-4 days of hard practice, early mornings, not enough sleep. The point is to learn how to be focused and intense when you are sore and exhausted, and when you don't have the choice to just stop. It can be life changing and life saving (when you get into real life situations). It can also look like a cult. BUT... We don't send people that we don't think are physically and mentally prepared. The trainings follow the same general outline that has been refined over time. First timers know the general idea of what they are getting into (maybe not all the details, but enough to be prepared with supplies and fitness level.) The leaders know about any medical conditions to watch for, emergency info, and usually a couple of people are medical professionals. There are accommodations for age and for medical conditions (unless it's really not safe for you to be there at all), and if you get sick or mildly injured they'll make adjustments and they definitely don't get mad at you for it. Most people have done it before, so the experienced people help the new people and make sure they are doing OK and that they are taking care of themselves. The group might get yelled at, but there's no bullying or body shaming. there's no control over food or anything like that. It's a martial art, so challenging yourself is the point. And it's in a gym or sports field so no one is risking getting hit by a car or falling off rocks in the middle of nowhere. TLDR: there are appropriate ways to help people grow and JLW's abuse is NOT IT.

If you ever have the opportunity to do a Templestay, take it. There's nothing quite like a hike to a mountain temple, followed by a few days of silence and work. Sooo soothing for the mind and body. ❤️
