I think it’s a very good direction to take, it may not be a ton but it’s been a hot minute since they actually changed stats like that, it opens the potential for other things in the future like mort or djb to be more useable in the future

Appreciate the positivity. I think a lot of content creators aren’t looking at this holistically. Globally, we are in a silent recession. Tech has had massive layoffs. Inflation has eaten into real wages so there is less disposable income. I still think SG has a lot of work to do, but there is more at play than most people think about.

glad someone agrees! I'm all for sticking it to SG when they do smth bad (like in the case of awaken potential) but during content lulls (SG likely axed entire depts following the AP debacle) being unproductively negative as a content creator does nothing but hurt the community as a whole.

It's reasonably good! Nothing gets broken like Ray/Briar patch, it didn't fall flat like the last one, I can see some reasonably meaningful changes in the game without going overboard.

Newish player here: but I keep seeing people say that E7 hasn't put much "content" out. But I don't know what you guys really mean by content. I'm asking because as a new player to a game like this, USUALLY, "new content" means MORE things to grind. Now this game has been out for FIVE YEARS. so to new players there is already a grind to try and catch up to the older player base, so when the older players say they want more content, do they mean they want to widen the gap between them and new players? a gap that's ALREADY VERY WIDE???? Because if that's the case, I would delete the game and play other games, as the game would make new content, faster than I could ever catch up and play with the rest of the player base. If I'm just going to get destroyed in PvP because of this for years on end, I'd just go play League more. Please make a video clarifying this. It's important for new players who may want to invest time and money into the game. Thanks. @Valky

New contents don't need to be for old players only dude. Take Ancient inheritance as an example. It's a enjoyable content with not only generous rewards but also suitable for even newbie to complete. There're a lot of ideas they could do to make pve more interesting. That's what other gacha games have done like Onmyoji or Dislyte. Pve in Epic 7 is so boring that old players don't know what to do beside hunting and pvp every day

New Content that older players are talking about doesn't have to mean like new stories or other things to stuff that you need to grind. Personally, what I'm looking for when I say I'd want new content is mostly more units to play in PvP aspects like GW, Arena or RTA. Which is why I always personally look forward to Balance patches even more then new PvE content as long as the balance patch is interesting and allows more units to be playable. More or less, content to a lot of us is just something to get excited for and actually want to log into the game and play. Stuff like Balance Patch, EEs, New Units, New PvE content etc and even Specialty changes if its semi-decent.
