My favorite upgrades for the honda civic on a budget. The bulbs from factory are not as bright as we would like them to be so I benefits us to change them out for LED's. The Mugen Door Protection Guards prevent scratchers from forming on the inside of the door handle. Acuity products are always a good upgrade and you can trust that they're made with quality in mind. My 2018 Accord 1.5T just had a fuel injector fail at 58k error code P0172 (posted on my channel). It's a good looking car but once the warranty expires you're on your own and you have no idea how expensive modern Honda engines are to fix. Oil changed at 80%, Shell regular used 80% of the time, always did warm up the car in the winter. Dealer so out of touch they recommended brake fluid replacement at 30k. I've never seen this part fail in ANY of my past cars. When asked why fuel injectors failed so early they said they see them all the time and $1600-$2500 (must replace all 4) would fix my out of warranty problem and the new injectors warranty is only for 12k/12mos! Made a case with Honda and the person assigned has never called me back once. Called for 3 weeks until I realized the could care less. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice...

I had the exact same issue with my 2018 accord 64k miles. I went to 1 dealership, they said i had a leaky head gasket, i didnt believe them. I took it to another, they said i needed new igniters and spark plugs to get it to stop misfiring. So far the car is fine now, it never didnt run bad. Luckily i had an extended warranty

I hope you didn't buy the 1.5 CVT to mod the engine. Look it up, people who modded the 1.5 had far worse issues than fuel injectors. You mod the 2.0T 10 speed tranny.

Thanks for the kind words! And maybe I should do a video on the not so cheap mods for more power video. To start off I’d definitely do down pipe and Intercooler and some flex fuel if you really want some power, but your clutch will start to slip at that point. So maybe just downpipe/front pipe combo, and Intercooler. I haven’t done coilovers just yet but that would be a good thing to do for better handling. A good set of wheels and tires is definitely a must at some point. I’m still waiting on mine to come in, hopefully soon.

Man that’s a hard question 😅 it all really depends on your, down payment, interest rate, how many months you plan on financing. A lot of factors. If you have good credit decent down payment, and fold a dealer with no markup, I’d say high 300’s mid 400’s especially with interest rates going up and up

@@lui.racing quick question, I ordered the door handle guards and they are coming today. I did a ceramic coat when I got the car. Will they stick or should i remove the coating in that area before applying?

@@steveh8224 Me personally, I would try and get some of it off in that area. I think the adhesive is strong enough that you wont have an issue but you never know over time if it’ll cause it to start coming off. I actually avoided ceramic coating that area because I knew I was going to install those door protectors.

um, it's led; however, I don't think he's going to use the incandescent bulb anymore as you can't peacock 🦚 w/o LEDs. Because ppl are judgey, especially if you don't run LEDs where an incandescent bulb used to be....

With the exception of the shift knob, every mod he is talking about could and will void your warranty. Honda does not want a non-certified technician messing with tail lights, tearing apart, the tail, light assembly, or changing any component within the engine. So be forewarned, your warranty will be void the minute you do most of what this guy tells you to do.

driving cars isn't the scary part...walking in from the driving cars is the scary part. If cars scare you, then start with a 125cc Honda Grom or 250cc Rebel. Riding a motorcycle in today's distracted driving world will help you appreciate a car that much more. Nothing beats a motorcycle for all-in involvement, but rid8ng/driving in traffic teaches you to never trust the other guy...never. Maybe that's why I drive my car as if I were on a motorcycle.... 🏍️

Step 1 get a Civic
