Haven’t played 2k in years, feel like 2k ruined it. Tried to build an old school post center. Couldn’t get past first couple of games because my guy was -27 OVR and moved in literal slow motion. Am I missing something? In story my guy is supposed to be a first round draft pick, but he wouldn’t make a children’s church team

lol I feel like they develop the game with the assumption people are gonna buy vc or use their pre order bonus on it. Cuz yeah if you don’t it can be rough. This is my first year trying to play without buying vc and it was brutal at first lol. Still only like 69 overall but now my shooting is good enough to drop a lotta points and earn more vc at least

@@patrickftw8464 being a 60ovr is brutal before it was hard but if you furted out how to play in your teams sytem you could score some points and work tyour way up, no u blow open shots and layups as a 60. i spent 7 buck on vc casue it was brutal but didnt reealy do shit for me, the vc proces is crazy now

8 min is PERFECT. 12 is cool but once ur above 80 ur playing 90% of the game. scoring for me is diff cause im playing 6 min rn & still getting 40 pt trip doubles. SUPERSTAR difficulty for now. once i hit 90 it’s 8 min/HOF

i think on next gen your teammates are worse, 10 used to be my go to but now i do 11 because i feel like the scoring 95-100 ppg as a team is not realistic and should be higher

Bro. With progressing the story. Do you need to simulate. It’s like 2K wants you to sun games as it’s coming up with these Rival games after your first my career game. If you simulate it skips ahead a good 5-7 games. But it seems this is how the story goes this year to progress and get the cutscenes right ?

You don’t have to simulate. It wants you to simulate to your next key matchup but you are more than welcome to play every game.

If you do as the game wants you will get stomped in the rivalry match ups so if you don't have the VC to get to a 90 overall you want to play every game possible to get badges and VC to upgrade also you should be hitting practice drills after each game and make sure to do your workout and pray you can get 3 stars for each so you get turbo boost but good luck with that. It's a money grab if you can't see it then idk what to tell you. 2k wants you to buy the VC that's exactly why it's like this anyone working full time doesn't have the time to spend hours grinding my career so they want you to buy the VCs this type of shit is what has ruined gaming for me won't be buying any more games after this year its all pay to play or grind endless hours complete bullshit

Why does the quests part is completely different on me? i have only quets in the castle where im supposed to play 3v3 games or score 10 points in a game etc. I have no main quests i have no key games, its like every video i try to watch everyones game is different from mine. can someone help?

😂😂right I was playing on Superstar on my 60 overall scored 6 points 2 assists and 2 rebounds the whole game with a teammate grade D+ got like 750 VC for 24 minutes of my time 2k knows exactly what they are doing sell the game for 70 than everyone spends and additional 100 to get vc talk about raking in some killer money 😂 I'll get to a 90 overall by the time they drop 2k25 but hey I did get the black mamba copy for 35 bucks and every bit of that 100k vc went to my build and it only got me to a 77 overall absolutely insane

​@@RuthlessDKI could see playing on hof if your a 99 overall or 90 but anything under is just insane to me 😂I made a second build and was playing on Superstar and could barely get anything' at 60 overall until you hit 80 or higher definitely suggest playing on pro or if all you do is play my career and don't care about park or any of that just play on rookie i like the higher difficulty tho cause it does help you get better when it comes to playing park the ai this year plays way better thank 22 I got so use to absolutely destroying teams run up to the 3pt hit the right stick down watch the defender fly past you and lights out so I'm liking the ai in 24 on pro once i get to 90 overall ill start playing on superstar or hof but really i just want to hit 90 so i can make a rebirth build cause i did what i never do and got a build from youtube that has a 79 3 ball and it's a challenge to hit any shots
