I can't believe I didnt watch these videos sooner, you're truly the only one thats teaching this from a boards perspective focused on integration and understanding. Rather than rote memorization. I've always believed that when you focus primarily on understanding then rote memorization becomes unnecessary, and this is proof of that fact

Can I comment on how amazing this review was ! honestly you did a great job with the integration of the concepts . It would be so so great to see a review like this for Genetics and Farm ( I know most of us struggle with these 2)

@@akhilraaj No it's type 4. Every article and medical literature says type 4. Type 1 is completely different. I'm talking specifically about "Allergic Interstitial Nephritis", it was thought to be type 1, but allergy is a misnomer now.

Hi, thanks for your inquiry. I do not discuss the exact same question to maintain the integrity of the exam & validity of assessment. I discuss the more relevant concepts which are fit for assessment & well suited for integration of other domains. Best wishes for studying!

Hello Rahul sir , Do you have any videos for step 2ck ?
@neil64072 жыл бұрын
Amazing video Rahul, really found it insightful! Just one point which I noticed at 31:45, you mention dysmorphic RBC's in light of ureteric epithelial damage, isn't it a marker for glomerular damage? I've classically been reading that, could you shed some light on this Rahul?
@hyguruprep2 жыл бұрын
Hey Neil, thanks so much for your love and feedback! When you have casts you know that you are dealing with a pathology in which RBCs conform to the tubules. When you have a stone and an RBC tries to go past it in the ureter, it shears. Remember this is NOT in the tubules of the nephron, this is in the ureter. Think of it as a shishtocyte of your pee 🤣 happy studying!
@neil64072 жыл бұрын
@@hyguruprep Ah this makes perfect sense. Thank you for your help Rahul, the schistocyte in the pee analogy 🫡. Edit: Of many USMLE tutors/lecturers I've had the luxury to view, your approach and the way you enunciate important points really hit home.
