About FNF
Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game in which the player must pass multiple "weeks", each usually containing three songs.[note 1] Each week, the player typically faces a different opponent.
During gameplay, the opponent will sing a pattern of notes which the player must mirror by pressing the arrow keys or WASD. At the bottom of the screen is a bar indicating how well the player is doing. The left side of the bar is red, representing the opponent. The right side is green, representing the player. Successfully hitting notes will increase the size of the player's bar, while missing notes causes the opponent's bar to expand. The player fails if the opponent's bar fills up the entire bar.
For each week, the player has the option to select one of three difficulties: Easy, Medium, and Hard. As difficulty increases, the speed of incoming arrows increases and the patterns of arrows become more complicated. The player's high score for each week on each difficulty is tracked and shown in the top corner of the week selection screen.

I'm trans and I gotta say that it's cool to see people try to give us some representation, but something about changing other people's characters to be trans and gay feels wrong to me, it is my personal belief that if you want to represent a certain gender, race, or sexuality, don't change an existing character's race, gender, or sexuality, rather use your creativity to create a new amazing character, I'd love to see more original trans characters instead of "this character is trans now" y'know?

Fun fact, neo pico was made to be trans ftm as there was a lack of trans ftm PROPER representation that didn't have the character presented as a femboy or as a stereotype at the time, so neo pico was made as a transgender male for proper representation without changing too much of his character. It was also made as a comfort thing for personal reasons.

But even that is not stated in the mod itself. They dont have to state it, or it doesnt have to be a full on LGBT mod (it should be accepted as normal mods), but its like, its hard to explain. Its like everyone making a video on something to spread awareness, but someone just does it for attention. I will admit, most popular mods are LGBT in some form, but thats the thing. It feels forced y'know? Its hard to explain (Also I reread your message. My character won't have a sexuality. Ill keep that ambiguous. Its just a penguin. No sight of being straigh, bi, or gay.)

Like for example Sunday had a non binary flag in their background way before the mod came out, stuff like that. But in this case the neo mod came out, ppl liked it and so the creator just goes “aye btw pico trans” with like no reason or anything, kinda just throwing it in there for the sake of pleasing the audience

Hell I showed my friend who’s trans and he was like “wtf that’s dumb, just make a new character if u want trans inclusivity” and honestly he made a point Yk? Don’t throw LGBT into an already made character for the sake of inclusivity cus it won’t go well, and if u do want to do so, choose the best fitting character. Tankman would’ve been way a way better choice imo
