Great video/walk round 👌🏼 I can vouch for Paul and his d5, it’s no pavement princess or school run bus, Paul’s taken it on some of the roughest lanes in the country… sometimes following a particularly nice d4 🤪 but he’s not afraid to beast it wherever we go 👍🏻

Great video! It would be cool to compare the old and the new discovery in their offroad capabilities. It would be awesome too if you'd have a tricky standardized track, where the difficulty increases in progress. So you could judge them by how far they come. But anyways, cool video and I always looking forward to them! Have a nice weekend! 🙌

If you check @D4 SVX you will see a few tracks where Paul has followed Eric in his D4 that has front and rear lockers. In general I think the D5 is very similar in capability to D3/4.

It's too low to the ground. The d4 is higher. And more spacious really. But the d5 is still a good vehicle. I'm just not sure it can do the off road thing well since the land cruiser prado has been updated so well its taken the place of the discovery 4

I believe he said those were 18 inch Evo Corse wheels. Did he have to modify anything (brake calipers) to install those. I have a D5 and have been told that you cannot put smaller diameter wheels on because of the brake calipers. Thanks!

I dont understand landrovers thinking with this d5 , when the d3 came out it really was a revolution for luxury and off road mix. This the d5 its really lost its routes . The new defender is really the d5 . In 10 years landrover will be unrecognisable and gone in my eyes . Very sad

Nice car- but engines are not for long life. Heard a lot of crankshaft issues, same as me. My engine-3.0 sdv at the Disco 5 mj2020 - blow up at 75.000km

I hope it has more than 4 bolts a side holding the sliders on. IIRC the L319 has 11 M8 bolts per side.
