Don’t be confuse buying the dip in a bear market, with guaranteed future returns. Just because that company is down 60%+ from ATH does NOT make it a sound long-term investment. Make sure you’re investing in great companies. kudos to Christen wilburn

I didn't quite make out what delta Tom said he liked to generally purchase long calls at? I heard he like 30-60 days out, but confused at what delta on a call. I heard him say 30 delta (but for puts?).

@20:44. you lose a little money buying back the call option if the stock goes up, so does the math work out where youre 100 shares make the trade net green when you close it out?

Yes, if you treat it as one position, the reason he says it's a bullish trade is because in the overall position you have long delta, so your short call loses money but the stock gains more. Assuming no management if the stock price blows through the short call and it goes fully in the money you have made the most you could make on the position.
