CRISIL ranking keeps changing every quarter. And MF are long term investments. So only use case is to pick the fund initially and stop caring about ranking as these ratings keep changing

As an MFD, I follow it, but unfortunately not much of a help, because it only looks at the rear view mirror. Doesn't give too much suggestions on the front view

I could make money by investing in HDFC Flexicap Fund, looked bad with a rear view only, i could buy a property in NCR In 2021 without talking any loan by avoiding the rear view mirror. Of course not everyone can do it. With due respect, an MFD has a higher chance of beating a direct investor. Just like saying, i will not go to a doctor, he charges a fees
