R5: I love the 7 here. 2,3,4,5.9 all want to get to the front or really close to it and I think that leaves an opening for the 7 to squeeze at the end.

Ferocious will go in as the favorite but Optical and East Avenue have performed well in their latest races. If they all show up at their best, I see no reason why these 3 horses should not be placed.

First five races are going to be tough with all the maiden races and high profile firsters. R1's best horse (4 - Seance) might be the best but will he be too green? Then R3 is full of firsters as well. Like is 9 - Illuminatrice going to come out of the gates and be dominant or is that going to be a 2nd race Maiden breaker? Gonna be tricky.
