Yes, I think the whole idea of pinoy boyband superstar is to form a group that will be composed of people with charisma and talent. All of them have talents, but they need to tone down para in-synch cla. I think the contest was looking for a group similar to Western boybands. That made a huge difference with SB19, from the start, the people who formed the group knew that they will look for talents that would match kpop idols. You'd also notice, they even have the same body built, they're all very good in dancing which is probably one of the criteria when they chose the team members.

I watched Pinoy Boyband Superstar in 2016 and was rooting for BBPH pero the way the network & production company handled the boys (training, songs, music videos, etc) it’s disappointing. Pero ngayon I’ve been supporting SB19. The talent, hard work, stage presence is top notch. 🙌🏻

I'm here after watching sb19 interview on "Padayon", Justin mentioned that he audition in Boyband Ph but he was rejected or failed? So I search for Boyband Ph because I'm curious who they are. Well my budjing, God let you experienced that failure because He has a better plan for you. I don't know Boyband Ph but I know SB19 Big time! Filipino producers.... It's about time not to focus only on visual but to discover pure talent, Justin also play a big part as concept director in their music video like in their single "WHAT", it's his idea of paper floating in the air (on Pablo's part). Producers should unleash the talent's artistry and passion, and let them contribute. Don't just settle on old ways or traditional way. Like for example, minadali kasi ang boyband ph, as individuals nandun naman talent nila pero remember na based sa looks ang first step sa show so may pagkashallow. Based on SB19 interview, they have been training for 4 yrs, 6 days a week. They have even given up their jobs to do the training full time. They were trained like k-pop idols. This made a huge difference in their performances from Boybandph. Boybandph was released right after they won a competition, they needed to perform on television and mall shows at that time to maximize their popularity, very minimal training as compared to SB19. However, this isn't an excuse, people who manages Boybandph should also be sensitive to people's comments and should take action. Maybe give ample time for them to be trained on specific song/choreography. I also think that they were chosen very differently. I guess the people behind SB19 had a clear goal that they should be forming a group of individuals with talents that would match kpop idols. Boybandph, maybe Western boybands like Backstreet boys, Westlife or One D. In other words, they have different genres, just like individual singers.

Kung iisipin natin, mas talented talaga ang Pinoy comapared sa Koreans. I am a kpoper pero pagdating sa vocals, masasabi kong ibang level ang boses ng mga Pinoy. Dapat talaga ang gawin ng mga TV network or Talent management sa Pinas ay bago sila isabak sa showbiz ay I-trainin muna ang mga talents nila ng one, two or three years. Hindi ung puro kita agad ang iniisip ng mga management or TV network. Tapos mga wala naman talent Puro ganda at guwapo lang. Dapat hasa na sa singing, dance at drama if puwedi lang naman.?

Im a fan of both kaya i can say na yung bbph kaya nman nila sumabay, magaling kumanta rin mga yan vocals pang laban nila, kulang lng tlga sa training din cguro para sa choreography, sb19 kasi makikita mo na tlga well trained sila yun nmn ang advantage nila tsaka may rap line pa sila. Anyways, stan both pareho naman talented.
