Almost 2.5-3 hour . There is also river rafting just before the pahalgam. So if you want to do so ,plan it accordingly

@1archanagupta leave hotel ASAP in morning. aru valley, chandanvadi and betab valley will take around 5 hours and then go to baisaran before 3pm it will take around 3 hours.

Hi didi, me & my mom both weighs around 80 kgs...I really really don't wanna hurt the ponies by putting our weight on their little backs...but I really wanna visit Mini Switzerland & Duno Valley...I don't care how tough it gets, no matter what I'll walk those 5 kms...but my mom is 60 years old with severe leg problems, I can't make her walk😢...I really don't know what to do, is there any other way I can take her there...please??😔 I wanna enjoy the beauty of pehelgam with my mom dad & my dog also😢

I really appreciate your concern about animals but dear there is no other way to reach there. My husband had around 100kg when we hike there with pony. They are trained to carry that much of weight and also by getting good customer they can get good food. As you are concerned one thing you can do is do not hire older one. The hike walk will be tough for your mother not only because of steep but also ground is full of mud and excrete of pony

River rafting is available at 2 places in pahalgam. One is between Anantnag and Pahalgam near batkoot around 12 KM before Pahalgam. Other is on the way to Aru valley from pahalgam. We went for first one. Ticket booking is on the spot. We don't remember rate exactly but it was reasonable.

@1archanagupta it will bit rush you can skip aru valley and also if you have visited gulmarg than skip chandanvadi. Betab valley, bisaran valley shouldn’t be compromised .You can also spend your evening time in the city garden which is located between 2 rivers

Yes some people hike to Mini Switzerland. But it is 6 KM uphill trekkking and the path is dirty due to movement of pony.
