I like it mate, I have a slight worry on whether Trent will get two starts but think it's worth taking the risk on him. Worst case he probably gets 1 start and a bench appearance where he's still a threat. But best case he could get 2 starts with early subs which could mean banking a clean sheet! Good luck

Hi Mate! Kept Palmer this week and it’s left me in the top100 - this week Nunez is out (would like him for this double but cannot ignore Bruno) 2nd transfer causing me a headache - currently on Gvadiol to Dalot as I went for Gvadiol as a punt last week which paid off The question is - is going all in on Man Utd for this week the right choice or play safe with a Liverpool or Arsenal defender (would mean I have 2 of each or 3 arsenal 1 Liverpool) Captain Salah - form isn’t great but cannot see him getting no returns across these two games

Nice one mate absolutely flying! Yeah we know Bruno guaranteed minutes while Nunez is competing with so many now. That's hard on the 2nd move, Arsenal and Liverpool obviously have been good defences but a lot of the appeal was the extra games. Now they are pretty much gone after this week. I do think Dalot to outscore Gvardiol this week is realistic. It's just do you want to hang onto him longer term.

I would have Dalot and Allison I think. I’m not 100% certain Trent gets two starts and I think Dalot gets 90 in both. Think both options are decent though. Trust your gut and lock it in! Good luck mate

Hi Scott. Finished the gameweek on 126 points and sitting 398. I dodged the Palmer bullet because I had other fires to fight I kept him in my team for his haul. More circumstance than judgement. I got lucky. This week again I have transfer dilemmas. I definitely need to make a keeper transfer as I have Kelleher. The guy who is chasing me in my mini league as I said is a really top player over all fantasy formats went heavy on Arsenal with Raya and three Arsenal defenders and I feel certain he's going to Park The Bus this week. Normally I would match up to try and block any gain he might have but if all his players doubling in defence that seems pointless. He obviously has his two transfers as well so I have to think of another way to reduce his advantage. My thoughts this week are going for a Man Utd double Kelleher to Onana and either Diaz or Nunez for Bruno Fernanades. Of course it's probably a move he'll make as well so that'll reduce my upside. I've led the mini league this far but probably going to have to accept I'm going to be caught in the home stretch and now just need to concentrate on my finishing rank. For captaincy I don't like going against Haaland. I did last week with Salah and it cost me marginally. I was kicking myself I used my Max Captain the previous week as doubling the Palmer haul would have really boosted my rank.

Evening Wesley, I don't think it's a risk but I do feel like it's limiting the chip a bit. I think i'd still really want to play it with 5 defenders if I could but that would be my only exception if you think that Bruno is the best captain and you'd want to captain him then you could go for 4. It's a really tough call, PTB not a perfect chip because you can end up giving up a lot! Just trust your gut and go for it 😂 the relief is nice once it's played

I took Palmer out this week Scott. I’m still gutted as had him in my team for most weeks since GW 15 😅 Anyway…finished on 119. I’m getting him back in along with Bruno. Cheers Nathan, I was just writing Mac to Palmer then saw the problem with funds... Nunez to Bruno great. I'd have to say I feel like Saka has the better double than Palmer but it's that fear with Palmer after what he did to us last week. I think Gvardiol has been brilliant would be a shame to get him out think defence looks good. It's boring but could you afford Martinez to Onana? Martinez suspended now for first leg of europe next week so has two singles.

Foden or Diaz out? Foden can haul at any time ofc but could risk a DNP as seen with the last 2 weeks, also reckon the Chelsea game will be tight not too many goals. Diaz most likely features in both games and they play Everton but not likely to see 90mins in either and has had disappointing points return last few games, with Liverpool poor in general.

I think Diaz personally. Getting near the end of the season now limited transfers, if you take foden out you'll probably want him back. Game on for city now they've taken the lead in the title race I think... Liverpool looked off it and now have all attackers available. DGW may not be proper double gameweeks for them. (Minus Salah)

I think I would still use it now if you can get 4 nailed defenders out. Feel a bit like time is running out and good chance weeks ahead may not be perfect. Teams start to lose things to play for etc

Hi Scott. Like you I removed Palmer last week for Foden. Big mistake. Just a word of advice for You Tony and Ben. If you bring in Cunha and Palmer and they both score against Arsenal. Depends how many Arsenal defenders are in your team, you will be losing 5 points per player. EG you will lose 15 points if Palmer scored against Arsenal. I think Fernandes is a no brainer and keep him all season. Bring Palmer in next week and hold him for the season. I was thinking of PTB this week but I don't like the fixtures really for clean sheets. I think I will leave PTB for the last game of the season and go for the £100 weekly prize. I am too far away to make the top 20. My team for PTB for the last game would be. Martinez, Trent VVD Robbo Gvardiol Gabriel Saka Palmer Fernandes Salah Haaland.

Yeah I do sort of agree with that logic, brings down your ceiling for points having a striker play your defence… Eze is the other I’m interested in possibly ahead of palmer but it would be a one week punt with palmer in after if I do it… Could be a decent gamble. Obviously if it doesn’t go to plan last week of the season though you just have to play it anyway

You're brave, I want to go against Palmer to be honest I don't think it's the best week for him. But i'm just too scared after last week and the ownership will probably fly back up. I'm not massively keen on Garnacho but he has had a good season. Dalot could be a decent pick performs well if you think there's clean sheets there. Possibly Eze if you can afford or just go boring and Palmer again haha

Gusto replacement and who to replace for Fernandes currently got kudus , Foden , kbd saka and diaz, finished this week on 125 points also fell for the palmer trap 🤣

I think it would be Kudus for me. Possible consideration is how many more minutes do you think Diaz will get than Kudus. With all the Liverpool players back fit now it could potentially be a 70/80 + 20/30 apperance for Diaz... Then who would you go for if it was say 100-110mins of diaz vs 90 kudus tough...

I took Palmer out the week before so over the last 2 games it’s 40 points for Palmer vs 38 for KDB who replaced him. Makes it easier to take for me. I don’t like Palmers fixtures this week but you have to consider expected ownership, the guaranteed minutes and pens. I’d want him back for GW33 anyway so probably going to have to bite the bullet a week early. Eze is so tempting this week though!

Ahhh Amelia what do you reckon was our logic sound or was it a big error. I know the points say we made a big error but it was such a mental result 4 goals and our replacement done well. I refuse to beat myself up too much... It was just that Shef U fixture that threw me off a bit I think as I'd intended to hold through the singles at first. I really really wanna go Eze this week over Palmer and get Bruno too but I just don't think I want to go against the ownership game. Boring way to play but it is a big factor

@@DreamTeamProfessor I feel it’s one of those where if you didn’t have him it didn’t do too much damage but gave you a nice boost if you did. I’m 162 overall and it doesn’t seem like many in the top 1k held onto him so I think it was the right decision overall. Next few weeks are going to get very interesting! Saka definitely on borrowed time for me, he’s been trolling me all season so I need some points this week.
