Simple solution, Cut Rodions Kurucs (PF/C) Who the Bucks received with the trade for P.J. Tucker, Then, Promote Mamadi Diakite (SF/PF, And C.) to the regular 15 man team. That would still leave Milwaukee with one more regular roster opening!

Different positions, heights, skill sets and potential roles in the rotation. Thanasis (6'6'' - 228 lbs) is a SF, an explosive slasher that can guard the perimeter while Mamadi (6'9'' - 218 lbs) is a PF with good positioning on both sides of the court, able to guard inside the rim. Mamadi can only be compared to Portis in the current Bucks' roster. He is a great addition as a substitute and could develop into a great player as long as he works hard enough. At the moment, he could be the third option as a PF, after Giannis and Portis, probably even play as a C in a small ball line up, paired with Portis or Giannis as the PF. He has nothing to do with the guards' rotation.

@@John-V9 In an ideal world, a year or two from now we see a small ball line up with Giannis and Diakite interchangeable as PF/C. I’m excited about Diakite, you’re right he needs to put the work in (and put on a little bit of muscle), but as far as raw potential goes he is up there. I personally think being on a team with Giannis, the definition of hard work leading to success, is a huge advantage for Diakite. He has the physical attributes and he gets to learn from a guy who was basically in the same boat and through hard work became a 2x MVP.

​@@BucksPackersBrewers Giannis' influence will play a big part in Diakite's evolution but it all depends on his drive/determination to improve and the Bucks' decision to keep him long enough. In an ideal world, Diakite may as well become the next Dream.

@@John-V9 lol well duh it depends on Diakite’s drive too. I literally said you’re right he needs to put the work in. Just saying he’s in a good situation to take advantage of. I’m saying being around a guy like Giannis is probably good for his drive, he can see first hand and learn from someone who has put the work in and continues to, and see the results of that work. But of course it’s up to Diakite, I never implied otherwise. I wasn’t trying to disagree with you or argue your point guy.
