Excellent as always! Having lived in France for 10 years I can vouch that they are much more demanding on the purity of their food. I used to look at the labels, and if they had 1 artificial ingredient, the same product in the U.S. had 10. They are so much more greedy in this nation, which is why we still don't have the free or assisted Healthcare other countries do. The lack of vacation is terrible, too.

Food labelled as organic is also sold by the same people selling non-organic food. I have read farmers grow organic foods in fields directly beside non-organic fields, side by side each other, and pesticides sprayed on one field, drift with the wind to the next, and water run off moves from one field to the next. So can you trust what you are buying labelled as organic to be truly organic? I don’t think so. The only way to know for sure is to grow your own food or buy it directly from someone you know.

One idea I would have liked more specifics on: Marie says we should "check in with marginalized people" to prevent terrorism from taking root in their societies. But she also acknowleges that all the aid to Gaza and the efforts to modernize Afghanistan were no defense against violent fundamentalism. It would be good to have what she means by "checking in" fleshed out.

Exactly, because people are people. People have varying opinions, traumas, and histories. If you gather up members of these marginalized groups and ask them what is what, you'll receive many different answers (many of which will be contradictory).
