I'm the kind who usually don't read through the lyrics no matter which language, and even as a Filipino I didn't even know what 'iginugom' means LOL good question. apparently it means 'tumunaw, digest, liquefy, to breakdown (food)' so it's this line: 'Iginugom ng bituin, Ikaw lang ang siyang mamahalin' means 'even though i am being drowned by the stars, you're still the one i will love' in English. although on the wish bus USA Eng subs, it's translated as 'Written in the stars, you're the only one I will love' which is probably even more romantic actually 😄 that's also a good localization imo.

I'm assuming you're all fluent in Tagalog. If not, this performance has English subs. It can be a worship song, a wedding song but actually its dedicated to A'tin, the fans. They adore their fans and are forever greatful for their support. They also performed this live on The Voice Generations where Stell was a Chair turning coach last season. In fact his team won the competition! There is a video of that performance as well!

It wasn't a love song. It's actually a message for each other. This song means a lot to them.. because this song represents their experience in life. At the same time a message to their fans. It's a letter about there journey. It talks about if they don't meet each other ( in case the the 5 of them don't meet ) . Whenever they sang this song in their concerts they're always emotional kasi this represents their friendships as well. And there love for their fans ( ATIN ).

The word was used in the Filipino translation of El Filibusterismo. More accurately translated as inilulubog or immersing. Hence, in the context of the song, "set in the stars" or "written in the stars" is a good translation of how the word was used.

Iginugumon = iginugupo/inilulubog/pinanghihina/tinatalo but in this verse, Pablo use metaphor, in English it is translated as, "written in the stars" (Iginugumon ng bituin), so instead of nakasulat sa bituin, he used metaphor "imprinted", or inilubog, or iniukit, which is deeper than just written. In negative aspect, it is also like, pinanghihina/tinatalo or overpowered by the stars. Because when you imprinted something over a thing, the underlying was overpowered by the one that you imprinted or was on top! but then on the next line of the song, Ken's verse said that, all my stars are for you... so metaphorically, he/they was/were overpowered by something that was imprinted on their stars, and that is the love, the joy of their world---that was in the last part of bridge, this is my apology, -ito ang aking paumanhin; "forever i will love you', -habangbuhay kang mamahalin; iginugumon ng bituin (written in the stars) or imprinted in the stars, the joy of my world - ligaya ng aking mundo, which was done by Stell's. This can be a love song, or a worship song, or unrequited love, or any interpretation that the listener could come up to. SB19's music resonates among their listeners. The raw honesty and soul in their songs touches so many people of race and color. Certain songs have a way of taking you to a certain time or a specific place in your life. That is why we feel the connections and emotions along with it.
