*Hello Teacher, I just got my results and I got 110. Back in December 2021 I got 100 and decided to take 2 tests in 2 weeks, 2 weeks ago I sat for the test and got 105, and yesterday I got 110. Thank you so much for your videos. They helped me a lot. Also, after the test, I got banned because they said that I received assistance but in reality I did not, it might be because of somewhat loud when my neighbors were doing repairs in their house. Hey Luke, thanks for your help! I scored a 145 on the Duolingo English test today. Watching your videos helped me understand how important it is to be descriptive for the written answer questions (I thought I could get away by writing/speaking the minimum amount required). However, I struggled to retain my composure for a question where I had to verbally describe an image of a kid on a swing (which was unfortunately everything but detailed). I kind of just broke down in the middle of the answer because I didn't know what more to say, and I ended up scoring a 120 in production. Could you make a video on how to maintain a natural flow of speech even when you're lost/nervous?

​@@binukhadka7983 I'm under the impression that you thought the numbers I put in parentheses are my practice test scores, am I right? Those are just my subscores from my overall score. Another thing, I didn't fell the real test harder than the practice test, just due to be longer it can be more tiring, and I got better score in real test than when I was taking practices. If you have noticed that real test was harder it is probably because you were going well and made the test raised its level. Good luck for you! @@binukhadka7983 I think will be very hard to you find a University that has the english requirements only 95 overall. About improvement, if you already dominate the format of the test, remains for you to study more English anyway, there is no easy way after mastering Luke's tips and not reach your desire score, you need to step back and impruve your level of english.

@@RaviMunak01 hi you can try out practice tests through englishtest.duolingo.com as many as you need. and its totally free.. try to use words like hence , on behalf, despite... etc in your speaking and writing tests and also try some fancy synonyms not a lot but one or two in your speaking test . as well as adding one or two idioms too will help you to score marks.. also when it comes to the listening test the sentence one in the first attempt carefully listen to it and type down what you heard and second time again listen to the sentence and check whether any mistakes happened third time you can clearly check whether your answer is correct. hope this answer helped you good luck

You are MORE than ok to go, trust me. Every score in the test is between the trial low-high score. If you have got 120-140 in trial, it is very likely that your score in the test will be between them.

I have an important question. I'm a visually impaired person, I'm a completely blind boy. Do you have any adaptation of the exam for these cases? I use a screen reader, but even though screen readers do their job they are still not as efficient with image descriptions. I'd like to take the exam but I don't know if it's possible.
