Dear shareply team I wish to bring up an issue here, i tried backtesting but noted that sometimes straight line appear due to lack of stocks in that criteria. But when i enter the same criteria in screener, there are over 50 or more stocks coming, why is that like same criteria different number of stocks in different platforms, kindly note it and take action over this issue.

Hello! In screening platforms you see the result as of date. For example, if you screen stocks today, you will see the list of stocks that fulfill all the conditions today. In back testing, as per your rebalancing frequency, the stocks are bought and sold and if there are no stocks then the portfolio will be held in cash. So if at any particular time there are no stocks then you will see a flat line. @@sharpely im saying there is a difference between stocks as on date in both screener and sharpely, its not about backtesting platform
