Would you recommend 14k white gold 18 k white gold or platinum. I’m told white gold needs replaying every 1-2 years and platinum gets dull so also needs polishing. I have some 18 k white rings from Europe that I’ve work for years and never needed replaying. Would love your opinion.

Since the diamonds are exposed on the top and bottom is it possible for it to scratch my engagement ring diamond?

Hey there! With high-quality diamonds, the only other thing that can commonly scratch them are things with the same level of hardness (i.e. other diamonds). A direct hit with a metal steel hammer or a rock however, may damage or even break it. Generally, you’re fine with everyday use! That’s why craftsmanship matters because even things like the setting can impact it (see our video with the TikToker who lost her diamond). I hope this helps! 💎
