BTW: With a few more parts, you can make a charger well suited to charging a sealed lead acid battery. The trick is a small PNP with 1) resistor from emitter to the regulator's "Vout" pin, 2) resistor from base to the load side of the current sense resistor 3) Collector goes to adjust pin. With fully charged battery the PNP would be off and you just get a trickle. With a fairly discharged battery, the PNP is on and raises the voltage by an amount a bit more than the drop on the current sense resistor. At in between charge states, the current into the battery is near constant

I suspect that the 5 black capacitor looking things you are charging in series; to emulate a battery that you call " ironisters ", are 2.7volt supercapacitors in series ! I have not heard them called ironisters before ?

Can you make project over discharge protection unit with auto on and off for 6volt 4.5A/h lead acid battery
You said you'll make next video with current limiting and polarity protection. Can you do little more modification on my request? am planning for the project with your next video, can you modify with auto charging when car battery in low voltage, modification with output DC power source turns ON automatically when I disconnected input voltage, & modification that can use output battery source while under charging condition too. By this modification project am planning to make small DC Uninterrupted power supply for my wi-fi routers, dc mobile chargers and dc lightings from car battery for home. I guess this will make lot of money savings. Most of the people waiting for such project. Sorry for my bad English, hope you understand my subject. Thanking you, From big fan of your channel.

Hi there, I love your videos, this one linear cool solution spreading the load (and therefore generated heat) with the parallel network Of transistors! Yes it's not the most efficient but it has lots of buffer behaviour room to manoeuvre and low noise is always favourable and fairly simple to achieve

Nice but why you not making 220V AC changer..... Nice work
@johnnz43755 жыл бұрын
XTREAME ENERGY , to make a 220V ac charger just add 1 transformer for the current and voltage you need, 1 bridge rectifier for the current you need, and an electrolytic capacitor with a value of 2200 uF per Amp. Only work with mains voltage if you know what you are doing.
