Why not try cloud seeding so that it rains and will absolutely wet the dry SoCal? Having experienced our house flooded and later on burned in a fire, I still prefer to have had our house flooded rather than loose our house to a fire as it will leave nothing but ashes! Seriously, cloud seeding could be better as we need it now to avoid these wildfires.

Rain after fire means mudslides and Riverside County has a cloud seating program.You can look on their government website and read about it. And if you notice there's been chris cross lines all over the sky skies in the last two days. They are cloud seeding.
