In the US, since 2022 there was a 20% decline in EV sales. Customers who bought at the peak sited some reliability and mileage issues. Most notably a decrease in charging efficiency after exposure to very hot/cold start-up environment and battery failure after submerged on flooding situation. Now after the CEO seeing this trend , a series of job cuts has happened and pivot on marketing strategy to sell to Asian markets such as the Philippines.
