Probabilistic -- not a frequently used word, but Michael Goode makes a valid point. I think the 80/20 rule applies in Trading. Make it your goal to win 80% of the time and know that 20% of the time you will lose. I'll take those odds any day.

I was trading a bit before I found Tim and I posted all of my old trades to profit.ly yesterday. It was the most painful history lesson of my life. You cannot win if you do not study, so study and your odds of success will become increasingly probabilistic!

Places like Interactive Brokers have pretty high starting limits. I know that some places like E*Trade and Tradier have minimums of around $500, but youll obviously have to look at different brokers to see what works for you.
