Honestly, I hope everyone finds someone who looks at them the way that Isaac looks at Ezra. Genuinely the love is so fuckin' palpable. So happy for both of you in realising your truest selves and living your best lives. You're shining examples for not just trans people but for human beings in general! Keep on slaying.

​@@greenblue6935 Firstly, Ezra is 21 and is an adult so saying he's a kid is not just patronising but is also incorrect. Here in the UK (where Ezra lives), it is mandatory for a person to have a psychiatric diagnosis of gender dysphoria before they get top surgery. This means that they must be diagnosed by a SPECIALISED psychiatrist or psychologist (this specialisation takes, including the medicine degree or equivalent, approximately 15-19 years). As the NHS website states, diagnosis of gender dysphoria in children is rare which is another thing to prove that Ezra is not a child. Finally, you say he's making decisions with no thought for the future? This decision IS for the future. It is treatment for gender dysphoria and so his mental health will, with any luck, be much better now in the long term. As for regret, a 2021 study of trans individuals who transitioned early in their lives found that only 0.47% of trans people in the UK regret their transition. Around 50% of those individuals regret their transition due to transphobia they experience. If you require any of the sources for the information listed above, please let me know! On a more personal note, I believe that the reason for a lot of transphobia is a lack of understanding. Hopefully these statistics will help you to understand why transition is such an important part of trans people's lives and why it is such a life-saving procedure.

I myself am slowly finishing up my diagnosis with this super nice psychologist who will help me start transitioning and I can't wait to be in your position!! One thing is my surgery will probably cost half of that since I live in Poland but I will probably have to wait quite a long time for it..

As someone who has to sleep sitting up some of the time due to health issues (and as a kid I literally couldn’t sleep without sitting up unless I wanted to wake up screaming) another tip for the pillows is large squishmallows, if you have them, use them as pillows (3+ if they’re your primary pillow) they can be moved pretty easily and are a great help

I am nearly at the point after my top surgery where I can finally take of my west, so 6 weeks, and I am so happy and looking forward to it. I am also on vacation in Spain right now and my doctor said I am allowed to go swimming as soon as the west is of. I am so excited.😊 I haven't been swimming for 2 years despite of my love for it😢 And I am extremely happy for you as amd hope your healing journey goes as well as mine ❤ My surgery only took like 1,5h or maybe a bit more. But I think that's different for everyone. Also my back tingles a lot and I need someone to scratch it whenever I take the binder/west of for showering😂

A question more for the future cause it may not apply now: do you feel strange seeing your pictures/videos from before the surgery? Or do you feel like you've had a flat chest forever and find it hard to believe that you ever even had boobs? I think I might feel this way someday in the future, it's happened to me with piercings (I can't imagine that I didn't have them in the past). So if you see this and remember, I'd love to hear the answer in the future!

Many years post and honestly both, it feels right and I at this point can’t even imagine it ever not being flat, but I do get dysphoria about seeing old pictures where my chest is visible(like in a shirt, but can see it’s not flat) but that is about the pain that was and kinda being brought back to the feeling that my chest pre op caused

I didn’t have to wear a post op binder, and had drains-they didn’t particularly hurt but I have two tiny white scars where the tubes came out. What is the purpose of the post op binder, did they say? Brownstein did mine and he is one of the best. Oh and your chest nerves will grow back, it took about 5 years for it to feel fully normal even on my nipples. I wasn’t told to wear compression socks either, except in the hospital

Hey Ezra! I’m a trans guy and I was just wondering if you know if you have a really small chest can you choose which surgery you get? I have an very very small chest and may not even need top surgery after fat redistribution so if I did I would probably be recommended to key hole. I like the sound of key hole however for keyhole you need drains and the thought of drains make me very uncomfortable with the thought of having drains inside of me..
