In the 80s in South America strong winds of change blew after very harsh dictatorships, then our national rock was able to sing its own with excellent bands and an enthusiastic and happy public. Prince's influence, for example, was notable, maybe it took us a while little to receive all foreign music, we lived years under censorship.
