I really hadn't tried that many of the Women's Amouage fragrances until very recently. WoW! In my opinion they are just as good(maybe even better) than Parfums de Marly and Xerjoff. The complexity of them is brilliant and the quality is excellent. Roja may be more refined but Amouage is more dynamic. 🌠🌠🌠🌠

@@almatoledo1608 I think the driftwood and the mineral note really have a calming effect on me. I imagine myself laying on a blanket on a white sand beach in the autumn sunshine. There's driftwood nearby and a salty breeze blowing. It's such a different fragrance. I hated it the very first time I smelled it but after a few wears, I fell in love. It's one of the few fragrances I have a backup bottle of. But I can see how it would be polarizing. I'd test it first.

My mother loves it and I discovered it through her and have been looking for aomethi for similar to the first Opium (i believe sometime in the 80's) thus Memoire Woman sounds like a sample. @Alma - try Lyric Woman, where the myhhr is more pronounced. I've just snatches a bottle of 1977 OPIUM, and its quite sweet and a very resinous - Lyric is more in that lane than Memoir (Memoire is more floral the way Poison is).

It’s definitely a house that requires some guidance if you can’t get your nose on them. Some of them are very creative or lean very masc/fem. But MAN they have some gorgeous, luxurious fragrances that will make you turn heads! 🤩

But found a video where a reviewer mentioned buying fragrance body oil from a company that makes oils that are inspired by the actual fragrance. So that helped it to last longer. So I'm going to try the sunshine body oil with the sunshine fragrance

I get tremendous performance from sunshine! Sometimes it was almost embarrassing how much I projected in a restaurant during a business meeting 😂 It is heat sensitive, and will not perform as well in the cold.

I smelled a ton of Amouage at Neiman Marcus recently… I’m a bit obsessed now. Beautiful bottles. Unfortunately they didn’t have Guidance to test but they did have Lineage and I really liked that one. I’m just really in love with the crazy unique frags from Amouage. I have to take time to get to know the fragrance and I love that experience. I’m making my list and slowly collecting them. I will try to find a bottle of Opus III. Do you know if it’s been discontinued or are they just moving it into the new bottles? I also noticed some of my bottles have the name on the side and neck of the bottle and some only have the name on the front. (Example: My bottle of Material has it on the front and my bottle of Beach Hut woman has it on the side and neck)

Opus is part of the Library collection, so it’s in different bottles. As for the names on the women’s collection, it is a bottle design change. Beach Hut is older. Secret Garden is also written on the side.

Oh man, that Nishane Ani and 100 silent ways is strong and almost impossible to get off your hands. The sweetness had me throwing up after a few hours at full blast. I too found that Love Tuberose is less amped up(thankfully), but I wish they threw in some things that are classic Amouage like resins/ incense or something that added depth and differentiation to it. It smells nice at the counter but it leaves me feeling like my nose is adhered to a vanilla milkshake for 8 hours. You have to like that level of sweetness to like Love Tuberose I think. Guidance is the only one from the recent releases that is growing on me. I wonder where they’ll take the house next becuse they seem a bit lost. Or maybe they’ll just keep making perfumes for 20 somethings who are able to spring for $350 bottles that smell like Nishane😅

Are you familiar with Penhaligon's Heartless Helen? I'm wondering how it compares with Love Tuberose. I didn't care for Heartless Helen at first, then got it out recently, 3 years after my purchase. Now I like it, but my thinking is that if I didn't like it at first, probably those around me won't either. I'd like something more mass appealing. I don't want something that will grow on me.

I am bot familiar with it. I went through the discovery quite a while ago. I agree the Pengaligans are not really mass-appealing. Very few appeal to me at all, really. But I can say the Amouage is mass appealing tuberose. I hope that helps!
